DDSC Approach

ANL and ORAU experts ‘scour’ available sources and update website with the very latest news and technical input Address the needs of the domestic and international decommissioning communityProvide knowledge base from:– an operational standpoint– for project status information – for educational/conference resources

Organized into ‘Focus Sections’

Summary

DDSC was established based upon some 60 years of collective D&D experiences – ANL (with 30 years experience) and ORAU (with 30 years experience) to:– Maintain knowledge base of current happenings in the

D&D community– Maintain and share knowledge of lessons learned and

experiences of others in D&D community –domestically and internationally

– Avoid reinventing the wheel or learning the same lessons over – again !

DDSC represents a national ‘International Decommissioning Network’ of sorts
