Principal Research Fellow Alexander M. Dumanskiy DPhil Dr Sci Biography

Alexander Dumanskiy received his degree of Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) from Mechanical Engineering Research Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences (1986), Moscow, following undergraduate education in Mechanics of Deformable Bodies. Prior to his current appointment as Principal Research Fellow at Mechanical Engineering Research Institute he was postgraduate and Junior Research Fellow (1979-86), and lectured at Moscow Institute of Radio Engineering Electronics & Automation (1983-98). Doctor’s Sci Thesis in (Phys & Maths) “Long time deformation and failure of hereditary media” devoted to Hereditary Mechanics application to Composite Materials was received in 2003. From 2001 to current time Dumanskiy is Principal Research Fellow at Mechanical Engineering Research Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences and Professor of the Special Machine Building Dept at Bauman Moscow State University (Chair of Space and Rocket Composite Constructions).
