1. MENU ICONS

ALFRED (DASHBOARD) The Dashboard is the main page of your Protrada account. This is where you will be directed each time you login, and from here you can review the general status and statistics of your account.

DOMAIN EXCHANGEThe Exchange is where you can browse through millions of aftermarket domains available for bidding, buy now, and backorder.

WATCHLIST *The Watchlists allow you to organize all the domains you find in the Exchange and are interested in, before you decide which ones to bid on.

LIVE TRADING FLOOR *The Live Trading Floor allows you to monitor the auctions you are participating in or watching and see them update in real-time so that you can adjust your bids accordingly.

PORTFOLIOYour Portfolio is where you will manage all of the domains that you import into Protrada. From here you can develop and monetize your domains, as well as list them for sale on various channels.

REPORTINGThe Reports offered by Protrada allow you to gauge the performance of your Portfolio and your Protrada built sites based on traffic, revenue, value and more.

SETTINGSIn your Settings you will be able to edit everything in your account from your name and address to your external account information. From here, you can also review your billing and credit history.

2. ALFREDAlfred is your personal Protrada assistant. Using Alfred you can easily see your progress in Protrada, current trading status, and tips and tricks with video tutorials.

When first opening Alfred, you will see a meter showing your progress as you make your way through all the features Protrada has to offer. The Status Summary tab shows your current trading statistics, including domains in watchlist, domains with losing bids, domains with winning bids, total domains in your portfolio, and more. The Tutorials tab takes you to a video library of tutorials for most areas and features of Protrada. This is also where you can find the most recent version of this guide. Lastly, if you have any feedback, comments, or any additional questions, you can always go to the Support tab and send us a message.

ALFRED LIVEThere is a button for Alfred Live at the top right of your screen, which givesyou direct access to our helpful and knowledgeable Support Team that canassist you with any questions or issues you might come across. They arealso always happy to hear feedback and suggestions.



3. DASHBOARDAfter the first time, whenever you login to Protrada you start on the Dashboard, showing you an overview of your Portfolio as well as easy access to the tools offered by Protrada. The Dashboard allows you to quickly view any site Previews that are ready for your review, and it also gives you easy access to Buy, Import, and Sell Domains and also gives you options to Upgrade your Membership and Purchase Credits.

UPGRADING MEMBERSHIP AND BUY CREDITSProtrada offers its users three different membership plans: Lite (free), Plus and Pro. The Lite membership is free and offers users core functionality, while the Plus and Pro plans are Protrada’s paid monthly and annual memberships that grant you many other features such as the Bid Manager, Daily Email Updates, Exporting to CSV, and SMS Notifications, among others. You can upgrade your membership by clicking the black button that says “Upgrade Membership” directly under the “Hello….” near the top of the page. This page will provide you with more details on the membership options Protrada offers.

Purchasing additional Credits is easy from the Dashboard. All you have to do is click on the button that says “Buy More” right beside the piggy bank and number of credits currently in your account. Credits can be purchased in packages of 20, 150, 500, or 1000. All you have to do is select the quantity you want and then follow the instructions on the page.



PORTOFLIO SUMMARYThe Portfolio Summary shows you the total number of domains in your Portfolio, the current value of your Portfolio, the total revenue generated by your Portfolio, and your domains that are currently listed for sale. Below, you will also be able to see charts showing a high level performance and traffic overview, which will allow you to keep track of your Portfolio’s performance so that you can make changes to improve it.

BUY DOMAINSClicking Buy Domains from the Dashboard will take you directly to the Exchange where you can search and review millions of aftermarket domains.

IMPORT DOMAINSImporting your domains into Protrada allows you to manage all of your domains, across multiple registrars, all in one place. Once your domains are imported into Protrada you will be able to Develop them into websites that will help you in Monetizing your investment and you can also list your domains for sale across multiple platforms.

PREVIEWS READYWhen you see a number written in the Previews Ready button, this indicates that domains you have submitted for development are now ready to be reviewed and published. Click the button to open the Previews tab of your Portfolio, here you will see thumbnails with screenshots of each of your developed domains that are ready for publishing. You then have the option to Publish or Reject the sites. You can also open the Full Screen View where you can test the functionality and Randomize the look and style of the site.

Publishing a website will cost 20 Protrada Credits, which includes the development of the site itself as well as hosting for a year. Credits are valued at $1 each and can be purchased in packages of 20, 150, 500, or 1000. And if you are missing just a few credits to have enough for your website, you can pay the difference by credit card when checking out.



SELLING WIZARDListing domains for sale is made easy with the Protrada Selling Wizard. Using the Wizard, you

can list multiple domains for sale in one action. Once you click to open the wizard, you will see a list of your domains along with their estimated values. You can select however many domains you would like to list for sale on the first step. When you are done selecting your domains, clicking Next Step will take you to select your Selling Channel. After this you will be able to enter a reserve for each of your domains and once you’ve saved the price for all the domains, click “List All Checked Domains” to submit your listings.

WATCHING & BARGAIN DOMAINSLastly, on the right hand side of your screen, you can now see a list of auctions that you are currently watching, which end in less than a day under the Watching Domains Ending Soon tab, while in the Daily Bargains Domains tab you can see a daily listing of auctions that have been determined by Protrada to be of exceptional value.



4. THE DOMAIN EXCHANGEThe Domain Exchange is the heart of Protrada. The Domain Exchange houses all the aftermarket undervalued domains that are available for backorder, auction, buying now, or making an offer, from all the external marketplaces Protrada works with. Protrada is the only platform that combines all the major domain auction houses, provides invaluable advanced data, and allows you to monetize your domains—all in one place!

The Exchange now features an all-new Wide View and the option to Export a CSV with all the domains you are reviewing.

The Domain Exchange shows you the information that is analyzed for each domain, displaying Appraised Values, Backlinks, Revenue stream potential from various sources, among many other factors – all for FREE!!

The tools provided in the Exchange allow you to sort and filter results based on the analyzed data and allow you to focus your search to show only the domains you want to see. You can save search filters to automate your search process so that you can easily and quickly pull up the results you want. By using the filters and the detailed sorting options in the Exchange you will never have to browse through the thousands of domains that are of no interest to you – ever again!



USING THE EXCHANGE FILTERS There are many options for manipulating the filters in the Exchange and it will be helpful for you to understand the various ways of doing so.You can adjust the selections in the statement at the top to select a saved filter or auctions ending at a later date.

Below, you can enter certain values for the Price you want to pay and the number of Characters you want in the domain, even the Value you are seeking. All these factors can help you refine the search results you see. You can use greater than (>), less than (<), or equal to (=). For example, if you want to view domains for under $100 enter <100 in the price field.

Some columns have drop down menus, such as Dash (yes/no) and TLD (com, net, org, etc). You can use as many or as few filters as you desire and sort by any column header.

From the Exchange, you can also Create and Save Filtersets to make retrieving the domains you are looking for quick and easy every time you login to Protrada. members will also have the option to select certain filters that they would like to receive daily email updates for*. Knowing when there are domains available that you would want to review can save you valuable time.

PLACING A BID Placing Bids and Buying Domains from within Protrada* is as easy as a click of the mouse. You can place a Bid for a domain by clicking the button for Backorder, Bid On It, Make Offer, or Buy It Now and then enter your maximum bid. Domains you bid on are automatically added to your Watchlist and if they are within 24 hours of ending they will also appear in your Live Trading Floor.

Every time you place a bid you will be able to take advantage of the Protrada Bid Manager*. Utilizing the Protrada Bid Manager, you will have the option to use Instant or Timed Bid with every bid or offer you make. Instant Bid will instantly place the bid to your external account, such as GoDaddy or NameJet. When the option is not checked, it will be submitted as a Timed Bid, with which the bid is held in the Protrada system and is not immediately placed in your external account. Protrada will place your bid only in the final minutes of the auction. This is done to ensure you have the best chance of winning the domains you want at the best possible price. Using the Timed Bid option improves your chances of winning auctions for the price you want. By keeping your bid secret and only revealing it and placing it in the final minutes of the auction, you will attract less attention from those bidders who are looking for bidder activity. If you are outbid during the auction, you will be able to increase your maximum bid from your Watchlist, Live Trading Floor or mobile application.

DROPPING DOMAINSDropping, or expiring, domains have reached the end of their registration period. There are various reasons for why the current registrant has decided not to, or has forgotten to, re-register the domain. The dropping process begins when a domain expires. Once expiring, the domain enters an Auto-renew Grace period of up to 45 days and then enters the Redemption Grace Period for 30 days. As the domain enters the dropping phase it becomes available to buy usually through a backorder or private auction process. If there is only one bid, the sole bidder has the highest chance of acquiring the domain; if there is more than one bidder, the private auction will automatically last for 3 days and the highest bidder will acquire the domain.

All you have to do to start catching dropping domains is click on the Expiring tab once you’ve entered the Exchange and you will see the current selection of available dropping domains. Once you see the domain you want, click Backorder and you will be able to enter your max bid. After entering the amount you are willing to pay, click Offer & Watch and the domain will be added to your Watchlist.

Protrada members can bid on Expiring domains without any external accounts linked*. However, in order to pay for and redeem secured expiring domains, you will need to have an ENOM account. This is free to setup through Protrada, and link to your account. Dropping domains can be secured on Protrada for as low as $15 with minimum bid increments of $5.

6. SELLING A DOMAINListing domains for sale is made easy with the Protrada Selling Wizard. You can access the wizard from the Dashboard or directly from your Portfolio by clicking the Wrench Menu icon and selecting Sell Domain.

5. BUILD A WEBSITEDeveloping websites for your domains allows you to monetize your investment and to increase the value of your domains. Protrada uses a Semantic Website Building Engine that not only looks at the domain keyword, but also understands the type of website and it’s intention and, in turn, what would work best. These websites feature relevant rich content and revenue feeds including unique, content related, network feeds.

Developing your domains is easy with Protrada. Once you’ve imported one or several domains, you can select to Develop them. Once you submit your domains for development, the first step they will go through is Assessment. Your domains will be assessed based on the quality of content that can be matched with the keywords in a particular domain and developed accordingly. The assessment process can generally take up to 7 days and an email will be sent to inform you once your websites are ready to be previewed.

If the assessment was successful, in your Portfolio under the Preview tab, you should see thumbnails with screenshots of what your Protrada built websites will look like. You will be able to open the previews to full-page view and will have the option to Randomize the appearance of the website if you choose to, and then select to Publish or Reject.

Building a website costs 20 Protrada Credits f. Credits can be purchased in packages of 20, 150, 500, or 1000. And if you are missing only a few credits to have enough for your website, you can pay the difference by credit card when checking out.
