Prof. Dr. Maria Lucia Cavalli Neder, President UFMT, Brazil Welcome Remarks by Dr. Lonnie King, Interim Vice President of Agric. Admin. & Dean, FAES

President of the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), Cuiaba, Brazil, Prof. Dr. Maria Lucia Cavalli Neder, will present a seminar at the Carbon Management and Sequestration Center. Dr. Neder received a Master in Education from the UFMT (1992) and doctorate in Education from the Federal University of Santa Catarina. She is a professor at the UFMT, occupying the position of dean since 2008. She has experience in the field of education, with emphasis on teacher training, distance education, language teaching and production of teaching materials. She was president of the Coimbra Group of Brazilian Universities and member of the Board of ANDIFES.

This seminar is jointly sponsored by C-MASC and the Ohio International Intern Program of the International Programs in Agriculture.
