THE FISHING LINE “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good.” Psalm 107:1. Words to remember during this month of “Thanksgiving” celebrations. We are so thankful for each family we have in our school, so to celebrate our blessings, please mark your calendar for two very important events! First, our Scholastic Book Fair on November 12-16 located next to the preschool office in the Motor Skills room. Next is our annual Thanksgiving Feast which is Thursday, November 15 and Friday, November 16 starting at 11:00am. The school will be thanking God for our Grandparents during this year’s Feast and Book Fair. Please invite your child’s grandparents as we would love to get to know them! Of course, parents are welcome, too! The feast will be in our Fellowship Chapel in Building A. Each class will be in their Pilgrim or Indian costume with lots of table decorations on display, so you don’t want to miss it! We will ask that each child pay a $5.00 fee for their lunch. Please bring the money for the feast to your child’s teacher or the preschool office in the attached envelope. We are preparing “stone soup” (which is vegetable soup). In addition, we will serve cheese, crackers, fruit, milk, and cookies. We will need some parents to assist getting the food prepared and cleaning up afterwards, too. Please sign up by the check in computers if you can lend a hand. Keep reading to find out what’s “On the Line”… Cookie Dough Orders Cookie Dough orders will arrive the first week of December. We will notify you when it arrives. Please make arrangements to pick up your order on that day as we do not have the refrigerator space to keep it for an extended time. Three cheers for cooler weather! We can finally bring out the jackets and long sleeves! Please remember to change out your child’s clothing in their backpacks in case of Volume 4 Issue 3 BOOKS, BOOKS, and more BOOKS! We will NOT be placing a Scholastic order for the month of November. Instead, we will host our Book Fair November 12 through November 16.
