Invitation from the Austmine Chair:

Dear Mining and METS Colleagues,

On behalf of Austmine I am proud and delighted to invite you to the Austmine 2015 International Conference and Exhibition, taking place in Brisbane on the 19 – 20 May 2015.

The theme of the event in 2015 is Transforming Mining: Technology and Innovation. This biennial conference is Austmine’s fl agship event and draws together well in excess of 500 senior level attendees from miners and mining equipment, technology and services (METS) organisations around the globe.

The program includes some excellent speakers, including presentations from Rio Tinto, Roy Hill, Barrick, Iluka Resources, Panaust, Alcoa and many more, discussing a range of technology and innovation subjects such as automation, robotics, IT/OT convergence, big data, the culture of innovation, remote operations, seabed mining, operational excellence and many more.

The exhibition running alongside the event will showcase some of Australia’s fi nest METS companies including equipment providers, leading services fi rms and technology developers. The conference and exhibition will help to foster greater collaboration within the mining industry and open up dialogue between miners and suppliers.

The Australian METS sector is a key pillar of economic growth, and many of our companies lead the way globally. From unique technologies to our large mining services and engineering fi rms which rank amongst the world’s most innovative, Australia offers the best solutions to the challenges which global miners face.

The global competitive mining landscape is relying on innovation and technology to drive it forwards and investing your time into participating at this event will help contribute to that future.
