1Summary of EventThe Civil Rights Movement was a very important time in history. It started in 1955 and ended in 1968. The Greensboro Four Sit-Ins were a large part of the Civil Rights Movement. This was a time when blacks sat in restaurants where they were not allowed and refused to leave.

When? Started on February 1st, 1960 at 10:30 AM Was still happening in November

Where?1st sit-in at Woolworths in Greensboro, North Carolina Caused sit-ins across the state By the end of February, sit-ins were happening across the south
