Definition

➤eCall is an eSafety technology that is promoted by the European Commission

➤The eCall system would automatically alert Europe’s emergency number, 112, in the case of a serious accident

➤On 19thJune, 2012, the EC adopted a resolution that all new cars sold after 2015 should be fitted with eCall devices
