JobRedi Grantees learned how to become Trailblazers with Salesforce at the first ever JobRediforce! The trail started as the JobRedi Grantees were invited to take the stage and share their new experiences at their internships. Salesforce showcased perks with a live tour of a Tech Internship at Salesforce in San Francisco’s tallest tower! A DAY IN THE CLOUDS Blazing the trail as a Salesforce managing partner, keynote Since my Father died when I was very little, there was not a lot of extra money for us kids. If you wanted something extra, you had to find a way to pay for it yourself. I became an entrepreneur early on, dragging my lawnmower through the neighborhood looking for lawns to cut. I ended up building a repeat clientele and set up a regular schedule, mowing at least one lawn a day all summer long. I always had money in my pocket, and it was an awesome feeling. When I was in junior high, I got a “contract” mowing lawns and tending to the landscape at a restaurant in Colorado Springs called The Hungry Farmer. They liked my work, so after a while, they gave me more work. I would mow the lawns once a week, but every day, I would walk the property and pick up litter, steam clean the rubber mats that the line cooks and dishwashers worked on in the kitchen and drag them in before dinner service started. Because I was so good at the grunt work, I was promoted to dishwasher. From there, I learned to do just about every task that needs to be done in a restaurant and never lacked a job throughout all of high school. A DAY IN THE CLOUDSBlazing the trail as a Salesforce managing partner, keynote

Since my Father died when I was very little, there was not a lot of extra money for us kids. If you wanted something extra, you had to find a way to pay for it yourself. I became an entrepreneur early on,

dragging my lawnmower through the neighborhood looking for lawns to cut.
