benefits, to comfort me, and to remain with me forever.
*HYMN OF AFFIRMATION “Come, Holy Spirit, Heavenly Dove” #332

PASTORAL PRAYER Rev. Mic Knox
UNISON OLD TESTAMENT READING Jeremiah 31:31-34
“The time is coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. It will not be like the
covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband
to them,” declares the Lord. “This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the
greatest,” declares the Lord. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”

SPECIAL CARE MINISTRY - What a blessing it is to be worshiping once again
together at church! And for those with children/young adults needing individual care
during activities at church, it is a blessing to have volunteers take turns caring for these
precious ones to allow the parents to more fully engage in worship and teaching. We
are in need of additional members to serve during Sunday School and morning Worship
Service. Won't YOU consider helping with this ministry? All that is needed is a heart
to love and serve. You will be providing a blessing, and will be blessed yourself!

Founded in 1850, Midway Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), a
Reformed, evangelical denomination organized in 1973. Our church seeks to be Scriptural in both its
government and its doctrine. We believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, our infallible and
divine authority in all matters of life and faith.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The
Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of
the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
John 1:1,14
