When Toma’s parents go to Europe, Tom has to spend part of his
summer vacation on a farm with
is aunt, uncle and cousin. He really doesn’t want to go but he
has to. He has to leave his best friend, Petty Burkes. On the farm,
he finds a rare animal, a black fox and its baby! When Tom’s Aunt
Milliea’s chickens start disappearing, Toma’s Uncle Fred is on the
chase. Uncle Fred is an excellent hunter and Tom is really worried.
Will this be
the end of the black fox? Read The Midnight Foxby Betsy Byars to
find out. I think The Midnight Fox is a really good book. I would
recommend it to anyone who likes adventure and is at least 8 years
old because there are some really hard words.
