DESCRIPTION
Staged and curated by Deakin University, the “Technologies For Participation” seminar was part of a wider developmental program called “The Arts Participation Incubator”, which aims to look at “next generation thinking in the cultural sector”. Over the course of the seminar, “Technologies For Participation” investigated various ways in which technology has been built into art projects, and the manner in which arts and cultural organisations respond to our desire to express our reactions. The presentation here from The Nest looks specifically at our approach for mobile and tablet engagement, with Case Studies featuring projects from Sydney Festival, Sydney Writers Festival and Art Gallery of NSW.
