Our Chef’s Speciality team are always ‘on display’, showcasing the latest in our ranges of cooking sauces and pastes.

The Chef’s Speciality range has become a ‘go to’ product for the catering industry where quality and authenticity have

to be rolled out with speed. The Chef’s Speciality brand has

achieved all this by being stocked in the ‘own label’ shelves of such notable

high street retailers like Aldi and Lidl in the UK. Chef’s Speciality products are also to be found

in the kitchens of the MOD, on Cruise Liners and many School dinner canteens, where the demand for high quality cooking sauces are all the rage.

Partnering with FairwayWhen it comes to own label manufacturing and bespoke food creation, Simtom Foods are the natural partner of choice.

After a lot of bench testing and product refinement, Simtom were selected by Fairway Foods to produce a carefully chosen range of popular international food sauces. The end result was a set of catering sauces that are unique in flavour and sets the marker high, when it comes to provenance, quality and flavour.

Each partnership brings with it its own set of parameters and challenges. Our task was to create a product that is truly special for our customers that will be both memorable in taste and recognised as confirming the brand.

We’re holding our breath for the results (soon to be published), for the 2019 set of Great Taste Awards.

Simtom have 9 products in the running, and we’re confident to win a few worthy accolades from this prestigious organisation, who strive to promote culinary excellence in food production.

Short listed for excellence!

Simtom are once again in the running for a series of awards for quality provenance.

A quick visit to our Merry Lees factory site will leave you in no doubt as to the complete ‘face change’ undergone by Simtom.

This change has taken some time coming, but we’re all pleased with the end result. There is no more confusion as to where deliveries are to be made or to where customers can park their cars. We hope you will visit our HQ in Merry Lees, Desford. A welcome awaits you!

Peter Prangle - National Account ManagerResponsible for managing and developing various wholesalers in the Foodservice sector to achieve Simtom growth plans for the coming years.

Dave Aldridge - Warehouse ManagerResponsible for warehouse 28, this controls all incoming ingredients for the manufacture of the company’s products. Also responsible for stock control.

Steve Adams - Group Operation Project ManagerResponsible for implementation and project managing all minor and major works within the business including design and surveying.

Sushil Mankani - Production Shift ManagerEnsures that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently. Planning and organising production schedules, assessing project and resource requirements.
