Attention

What we have is a

deficit of

attention.

Respect.

re·spect | noun \ri-ˈspekt\

1: a relation or reference to a particular thing or situation2: an act of giving particular attention : consideration3a : high or special regard : esteem b : the quality or state of being esteemed c plural : expressions of high or special regard or deference

re·spect | noun \ri-ˈspekt\

1: to look at again.

Respect?

…but, how can you achieve respect in an online classroom?

…how can you get students to, “look again” when you may never see them face to face?

Respect!

Respect cannot successfully be demanded.

Respect can only successfully be given.

Seek out your students, chase after them, and they in turn will chase after you.
