God set evolution in process and guided the progress

and the development, and so, in effect, created man.

He began the process of causing the first organism to

live and then intervenes periodically to modify thingsusing mutations and natural selection. At some point,

God put a human soul in a primate.

God created at the beginning, but also has stepped in

at different points and created progressively more

advanced species concluding with humans. The days

of creation were overlapping periods of millions andbillions of years. Man was created after the vast

majority of earth's history of life and death had

already taken place.

The creation days of Genesis 1 were six literal (24-hour)

days, which occurred 6,000 –12,000 years ago. Noah’s

flood was worldwide and radically rearranged the

surface of the earth. All land animals and birds not inNoah’s Ark (along with many sea creatures) perished,

many of which were subsequently

buried in the Flood sediments

which was responsible for most ofthe rock layers and fossils.
