every year. It means the world to us to be able to step out of the real world into our favorite fantasy world. We try to bring new

people every year to introduce them to the best place in Georgia.

Kristin Singleton The Renaissance fair is pure immersion and downright fun. There is nothing better than watching your loved

one getting hit with a mallet while wearing a kilt and chomping into a turkey leg. My favorite part is the end of the day sitting in

the pub while the sun goes down and waiting for the band to play, "Old Newcastle town".

Bobby Rowe What other place can you go back to a simpler time before internet and television? If you had a disagreement with

someone you just challenged them to a joust. Where you could drink mead for hours and tell tales of your adventures. If you like

mighty knight prevail, we come in costume by the masses, as the bar wench fills our glasses, comradery instantaneously

commences, for a stranger you will find none - All aspects of the RenFest are fun!

Amanda Hahn Renaissance Festivals have been a tradition in my family since I was a young child. We would travel between the

festivals in Florida and I try to go to the ga festival every year! I didn't think I would get to this year but I have one day available

that I can go! So hopefully I can get my butt out to the festival to see hey nunny nunny and the pirate auction!!!

Amy Towles I love to see all of the fascinating vendors who sell their handcrafted items and make a living on them! The high

quality boots, the customized perfumes, the breathtaking wood carvings and glass blowing!!?!!? I'm not sure that it can get much

better then buying unique, often personalized items from real, every day people who use that money to put their kids through

school and pay their bills! I'm so glad it's an experience I get at every single Renn Faire!

Cammy Moreno I love dressing up and see others dress up and enjoy their geekiness and excitement. All in one place, we get to

see costumes, weapons, jewelry, stylized toys and accessories, acting, performers, horse shows, animal exhibits, foods, and rides

that don't often come up outside the internet. I like watching everyone find things they love and get excited. Also, it is very

flattering to get 'M'lady"d.

Ashlyn Nesbitt The GA RenFest is something that my best friend and I never miss. It is the perfect escape from reality and

always offers something different for us to fall in love with. It's one of the greatest experiences and I look forward to it every

year. The characters are all simply diving and welcoming. It's such a fun time!

different atmosphere. Ive met so many people through the ren fair that are small business owners. I love that it supports their

businesses. I can't wait to bring my daughter as she continues to grow and see her experience it. I loved the fairies when I was

Linda Morse #garenfest17 my niece and I come every year. We have been doing it for 20 years. Jaclyn Price Boyce was 11

when we started she is now pregnant with my great nephew and we will be there this pirate weekend. We have favorite shows

and always have tea at the peacock. Recently we relax with massages. Also We collect bronze roses every year. We love it.

Kim Colley I just love wearing costumes and seeing others in costume and love hearing others 'be in character'. When my kid

was young enough for the rides I also like the novelty for her to see it's possible to have fun rides without big complicated

machines run by electricity.

Amy McCurry May With a family of five, from us adults to teenagers, and a six year old, plus family from all over Georgia, we

all meet at the Ren Fest to enjoy the wonderful, cheerful atmosphere where there is something for everyone of us to enjoy! We

come at least twice each year. It's our family tradition to meet at the Ren Fest on Mother's Day to be together. We cannot get

enough of the Ga Ren Fest. And to sum it up...its great on the purse too. I just wish there were more weekends to enjoy .

Georgia Nichole Ream I've been every year, sometimes 2 or 3 times, for the last decade. I go for the sense of camaraderie

amongst complete strangers. I go for the hair braiding. I go for the hilarious shows (love the Tortugas). I go for the fried macaroni

on a stick and the refreshing Italian soda. I go for dancing with the fairies and bowing before the queen. The experience of the

festival is not one to miss and now I have children and want them to grow up experiencing it every year

Brandon Giddens I like coming to see the look on my children's faces as we park. Their looks go from boredom from the long

car ride to wonder and excitement in a matter of seconds. My reason is seeing them smile proudly after being knighted by the

Queen and then cheer loudly for their favorite knight in the joust. There are many reasons to come, but my favorite is asked if we

can come back again soon as they sing songs from Hey Nunnie Nunnie.
