ARRESTS• Shamiya Crockett, 21, Milwaukee,
Wis., was arrested Tuesday on two war-rants for violating a written promise andtwo warrants for being an unlicenseddriver.
• Roosevelt McCarter Jr., 54, SiouxFalls, was arrested Tuesday on a warrantfor failure to appear on a grand theftcharge.
• Farah Jama, 30, Yankton, was ar-rested Tuesday for simple assault.
ACCIDENTS• A report was received at 5:07 p.m.
Tuesday that a 1996 Mercury Marquisdriven by a Mission Hill man collided witha 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by aYankton woman in the 2300 block ofCedar Terrace. Estimated value of the
damage to the vehicles was $2,950 and$1,200, respectively.
• A report was received at 5:32 p.m.Tuesday that an unknown vehicle hadbacked into a purple Dodge Dakotapickup. The victimʼs vehicle had an esti-mated $1,500 damage.
• A report was received at 10:36 a.m.Wednesday that a Buick Rainier veeredoff the road and collided with a sign in the900 block of West 15th St. The driver wascited for careless driving.
INCIDENTS• A report was received at 3:57 p.m.
Tuesday of a lost or stolen ring in the2100 block of West 11th St.
• A report was received at 8:57 p.m.Tuesday that a male assaulted anothermale in the 500 block of West 21st St.The suspect was arrested for simpleassault.
• A report was received at 11:21 p.m.Tuesday of a ditch fire along 304th St.near Highway 81.
• A report was received at 12:09 a.m.Wednesday that a man was assaulted byfour unknown males in the 100 block ofEast Third St.
• A report was received at 10:17 a.m.Wednesday that a construction crew haddamaged approximately $910 worth ofproperty at a business in the 2400 blockof Broadway.
• A sheriffʼs office report was receivedat 7:28 p.m. Tuesday that shots were firednear NW Jim River Road.
