The Niagara Pro is a professional rack-mountable streaming media appliance designed for high-quality, high-resolution video capturing and streaming. This dual-channel encoder features three EZStream® buttons, which are pre-programmable using the Niagara configuration Web interface. This unique feature allows users to create custom encoding profiles, or use pre-defined encoding profiles, and execute those profiles by simply pressing a single button on the front panel of the Niagara Pro.

Niagara Pro creates live streams in a variety of formats. It can be configured to save encoded content in these same formats to local or networked mass storage devices via two built-in 1 gigabit network ports.

The Niagara Pro front panel includes a video confidence monitor, which is selectable by input channel, or can be set to automati-cally cycle between input channels giving a constant view of the input source video. Niagara Pro also features SDI, S-Video, and composite video inputs with the benefit of embedded SDI, AES-EBU, and balanced and unbalanced audio inputs.

With power to spare, Niagara Pro can deliver two channels of full D1 high-quality streaming video. Niagara Pro features Osprey Digital SimulStream®, allowing multiple streams from a single channel input. This provides the ability to simultaneously stream multiple resolutions at multiple data rates in multiple streaming formats!

Encoder Management & Monitoring Software - Niagara SCX ProNiagara SCX® Pro is ViewCast’s encoder management and monitoring software. Niagara SCX provides full access so you can view and set encoding parameters, start, and stop the encoding process, and receive notification of identified error conditions.

Niagara SCX Pro is extremely flexible, particular-ly in applications involving live broadcasting where immediate changes and tweaks are required. Niagara SCX Pro excels in providing the required controls to ensure optimum streaming video quality.

Encoder Configuration ToolNiagara SCX Pro Web InterfaceFor custom configuration of the Niagara Pro system settings, ViewCast created the Niagara SCX Pro Web Interface tool, which is included with all Niagara Pro systems. This tool does not require you to install special software on any other PC. You only need a Web browser on any PC running any operating system, and you can control and configure any Niagara Pro stream-ing media encoder.

This Web-based userinterface allows youto browse to any Niagara Pro, GoStream or GoStream Plus on a LAN or WAN network and manage the entire system configuration, including: • Create, modify, and delete encoder profiles • Start and stop individual encoders • Pre-configure and assign ABC EZStream buttons • View and manage encoder log files and entries • Modify system network configuration settings (network name, IP configuration)

Osprey Digital SimulStreamDesigned to provide the optimal experience of a streamlined workflow, Osprey® Digital SimulStream® provides the ability to deliver multiple streams at multiple bitrates from a single video source.
