The Framework objectives have been grouped under two headings to correlate more closely with the National Curriculum:

Ways in…

• Start with the objectives and see how you can adapt existing plans to include these

• Take one strand (eg sentence structure) and use as a focus throughout the school

• Each year group to try one of the unit plans from their year group

• You have up to two years to introduce the framework

• Don’t try to do it all at once
