conveniently situated in the historic market town of Diss
on the Suffolk/ Norfolk border it is very much on the tourist route.

5. Ways of Bidding5.1 In PersonIf you are attending the sale then you can bid in person. Ensurethat you have the attention of the auctioneer during bidding andupon purchasing either show, or advise the Auctioneer of yourbuyers number.
5.2 By Written BidIf you cannot attend the sale then please complete a written bidform indicating the price you wish to bid to. The Auctioneer willfaithfully execute your commission bid, starting the bidding at alow level and using your written bid against other bids and anyreserve price that might apply, to acquire the lot on your behalfat as low a level that other interest allows. In the occasional
situation of another bidder holding the bid equal to your top bidthe auctioneer will place one further bid on your behalf. Writtenbid forms must be received no later than 30 minutes before thecommencement of the sale. This service is offered free of chargebut without responsibility. If you are successful with your writtenbid we will normally telephone you with details of your purchaseafter the sale. Where we cannot make contact we will invoice youa.s.a.p. Catalogue DescriptionThe Auctioneers undertake that reasonable care has been takento produce catalogue descriptions that are accurate and reliablebut these are necessarily matters of opinion only and not to betaken as statement of fact. Artist Resale Rights (ARR)In essence, this charge will be made to the purchaser of any workof art that has been produced by a living artist, or an artistregistered with Design and Artists Copyright Society, on lots withthe hammer price more than the UK sterling equivalent of1000.
