Why get involved?
• Electricity is one of the most significant spend items in a schools non-pay budget.
• Estimated savings of 20-30% in the first year and 5% in the second year.
How can schools get involved?
• Procurement – OGP lead– Schools currently in a contract with an electricity
supplier, should continue to fulfil the terms of that contract.
• Management lead – Energy Efficient Plan with clear targets set out?
