June is Brain Health Month which will focus on guiding residents in managing their ownbrain health and increasing cognitive function through physical activity, nutrition, stressmanagement, sleep, mental stimulation and social interaction.

The Longest Day is the day with the most light — the summer solstice. And it's the daythe Alzheimer's Association calls on everyone to fight Alzheimer's disease by raisingfunds and awareness for care, support and research.On Thursday, June 24th 2021, The Sheridan at Birmingham is participating in TheLongest Day and will be holding a BBQ Cookout where we will raise funds and standup to the darkness of Alzheimer's.
