Chapter Six…The Golden AgeAll three of the kindred's of Elves are in Valinor. This was the “golden age”; the Eldar were full grown in body and mind, while the Noldor discovered new techniques such as speech and song.

Miriel and Finwe had a son named Feanor.

A Time for SorrowFinwe wanted more children but his wife Miriel had already spent all her energy on Feanor.So Finwe sent her to Irmo at Lorien to rejuvenate her. She fell asleep in the Gardens of Lorien and her spirit

left her.For awhile Finwe visited her body everyday but he later stopped visiting her.

Finwe gave all of his love to his son after.

Turmoil Inside of the Family Finwe got married for a second time to Indis the Fair, who

already had two children(Finglofin and Finarfin). Feanor was mad at his father for remarrying and lived

apart from them. Melkor’s term ended and Manwe ended up pardoning him

but he still lost his place of power. Manwe disteusts manwe bt everybody else does

Melkor’s Anger Melkor believed that the Eldar were the reason for his

downfall so he hated them. He seeked friendship with them, doing favors for them to

gain their trust. Noldor and Feanor learned a lot from him. Some people said that they shouldn’t have listened to his hidden knowledge.

Chapter 7 Feanor using all of his power made the Silmarils.

They appeared to be three great jewels, but it wasn’t known what substance they were made out of. They were incredibly beautiful and they contained the light of those two trees of Valor.

Melkor wanted the Silmarils and tried to find a way to kill Feanor and end his friendship with the Valar and the elves.

Melkor spread lies about Feanor, plotting him against the Valar.

Feanor greedily loved the Silmarils.

Continued… Feanor started threatening his half brother Fingolfin

infront of everybody The Valar figured out that Melkor was the root of all the

lies. They punished Feanor for threatening his brother; he was kicked out of Tirion for twelve years.

Melkor left Valinor before he was punished for his actions Melkor tried gaining Feanor’s trust but Feanor didn’t give

in.
