ABOUT THE SPRING HOUSE
Frank Lloyd Wright began designing the house in 1950 and it was completed in 1954. The Lewis family moved in and lived there until 2011.
This house is in Wrights Hemicycle design which means it is one of only a few that he designed with half circle shapes.
The Spring House is a perfect example of how Wright loved to incorporate buildings with nature.
The side of the Spring House that is shaped as a half circle forming with another half circle, resembling a boat.

When the Lewis family moved out in 2011, the Spring House Institute was formed in order to teach others about the house and to help earn money to restore it.
The Spring House is an excellent site to learn about early architecture and the famous Frank Lloyd Wright.
• The Spring House has so many unique features inside and outside the house. Each room shows off Wrights style and talent.
