Welcome
Thank you for being here for worship this Sunday! Our mission at First Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We are inspired by the words of John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, who encouraged believers to “do all the good you can, in all the ways you can.”

Special Thanks from College Ministry Team We just completed our final college mailing for this school term. We were able, with
your help, to send 33 boxes four times during the school year. For some of our
students, this was the first time away from home and for others it is their final year.
We always include devotions, scriptures, and many other items of spiritual
enrichment. We trust that from our efforts we are able to build on a firm foundation
that will serve them well whether they return to serve our congregation or go on to
serve in other churches. The supplies, treats and gift cards were of course nice to
include but our prayer is that the greater benefit is that they feel the love from their
home town and caring church family.
A special THANK YOU to our church family. You really came through to help with
this ministry through your prayers, monetary contributions and gifts of supplies and
treats. We have had so much support from our church staff – Rev. Buddy,
Rev. Jonathan, Rev. Emily, Big Tom, Terry, Cynthia, Kay, Jennifer J, Jennifer H,
James, the Sunday School classes and our Thrift Store.
God has truly blessed us with a supportive church staff, a will-
ing congregation and a successful ministry.
Many Thanks,
College Ministry Team
