SEVENTH SUNDAY OF THE YEAR YEAR A

With one heart and one voice, let us present our prayers to God, the Lord of compassion and love:

Reader• That our Church and parish community

may seek the mercy and love of God in all things:let us pray to the Lord. (Pause) Lord in your mercy (Ʀ) Hear our prayer.

• That God's way of peace and justicemay be the path travelled by all peoples and nations:let us pray to the Lord. (Pause) Lord in your mercy (Ʀ) Hear our prayer.

• That the Parents and Guardians of the children in our Parishwill ask God to guide them and to strengthen their resolveto bring their children up to recognise the love of God in their lives:let us pray to the Lord. (Pause) Lord in your mercy (Ʀ) Hear our prayer.

• That those on the margins of societywhose pain and anguish are ignoredmay find, among us, a place of acceptance and support:let us pray to the Lord. (Pause) Lord in your mercy (Ʀ) Hear our prayer.

• That the sick and suffering, especially

and anyone who needs our prayers at this timeMay experience anew the comfort and peace of Christ:let us pray to the Lord. (Pause) Lord in your mercy (Ʀ) Hear our prayer.

• That those who have died in the peace of Christmay find, in God's holy presence, light, happiness, and peace:let us pray to the Lord. (Pause) Lord in your mercy (Ʀ) Hear our prayer.

• That God will hear the prayers we now make in the silence of our heartslet us pray to the Lord. (Pause) Lord in your mercy (Ʀ) Hear our prayer.

• Mary is the mother of us all and so we pray, Hail Mary . . . . . .

ReaderO God, hear the prayers of the peoplewho have placed their hope in you. With a perfect and complete "yes, may we respond to your invitationto make our lives "new"in your love, compassion, and forgiveness.in Jesus' name, we pray. Amen
