On April 30, 2021, our beloved Administrative Assistant for Youth & Children will be retiring after 16 years of service to Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. Cathy Englade was hired by our then youth minister, Katie Rogers (Newman), in March 2005 and she has never looked back. During that that time she has gone above and beyond the call of duty to serve the families of PHUMC. If you would like to send Cathy a thank you, you can send an email to cenglade@phumc.com or a card to the church. WORSHIP UPDATEWe are excited that the Board of Stewards approved the proposal from our Relaunch Team and Clergy to reopen for limited indoor in-person worship at our campus. Learn more of sign up at phumc.com/in-person-worship.

We have 5 services to attend, each with a registration limit. Registration is required, masks & social distancing will be required.

• Casual Service Saturday in the gym, Saturdays at 5PM (60 person limit)• Contemporary Worship in Wesley Hall, Sundays at 9am & 11am (30 person limit for each service)• Traditional Worship in Sanctuary, Sundays at 9am & 11am (60 person limit for each service)• Registration must be completed by noon of the preceding Thursday.• Please register online by going to phumc.com/in-person-worship. For those watching our services online, we will have a new schedule! Our Traditional worship service will be available at 9:00am on Facebook & YouTube. It will still air on KATV at 10:30am. Our Contemporary worship service will air at 11am on Facebook and YouTube! We hope you can join us for our worship service!

PHUMC members and guests may join the birth-day club by donating $1 for each year of their age during their birth month

or any other month!

Contributions in memory or in honor of a loved one’s birthday are gladly accepted. For those of you who do not know what to get that ‘someone who has everything’, a gift to the Birthday Club in their honor will ‘fit the bill’ nicely and support the ongoing ministry of the Foundation as well. This Easter we were not only able to celebrate the risen Christ on-line, but we were able to meet together at War Memorial Stadium! We had 2,800 people come worship at War Memorial Stadium, as well as 2,650 people who joined us on Facebook and YouTube

services! It was a great way to celebrate Easter!

For the month of May, we are planning to create Cinco De Mayo themed bags for our patrons, since

many of them are Hispanic.

During the month of April, we are in need of bags of pinto beans, bags of black beans and corn flour (not corn meal) to help us complete the Cinco

De Mayo bags!

The Diaper Bank served 126 children this week in 86 different families!

The Food Pantry shared 112 bags of groceries to 61 families! Thank you to all of these volunteers for their hard

work and dedication!

Donations can be dropped off at worship on Sundays or during the week from 7:30am-7:30pm at the station outside of Wesley Hall by entrance 7. If you want to give a
