The Bloodline of Prophet Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam

His name: Muhammad /محمد , Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam.

His father Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam is Al Sayyed 'Abdu Allaahe السيد

/عبد هللا .

His grandfather Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam is Al Sayyed 'Abdu Al

Muttaleb \السيد عبد المطلب and his name is Shaybah /شيبة .

His grandfather number two , Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam, is Al Sayyed

Haashimالسيد هاشم and his name is 'Amr /عمرو .

His grandfather number three, Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam, is Al Sayyed

'Abdu Manaaf /السيد عبد مناف , and his name is Al Mugheerah /المغيرة .

His grandfather number four , Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam, is Al Sayyed

Qusayy \السيد قصي and his name is Zayd /زيد .

His grandfather number five Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam is Al Sayyed

Kelaab /السيد كالب .

His grandfather number six Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam is Al Sayyed

His grandfather number seventeen Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam is Al

Sayyed Mudar /السيد مضر .

His grandfather number eighteen Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam is Al

Sayyed Nezaar /السيد نزار .

His grandfather number nineteen Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam is Al

Sayyed Ma'add /السيد معد .

His grandfather number twenty Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam is Al

Sayyed 'Adnaan /السيد عدنان .

The Kurds are Arabs, and according to all the early Arab historians, and they are the descendants

of Al Sayyed Nezaar ben Ma'add ben 'Adnaan \السيد نزار بن معد بن عدنان .

We will report here what one of the great Arab historian said about the bloodline of the tribes of

the Kurds.

Al Mas'oodee/284) المسعودي Hejree \هجري -348 Hejree896/هجريGregorian-957Gregorian) and his

name is 'Abdu Al Rahmaan ben 'Abdu Allaahe ben 'Utbah ben Mas'ood al Kuufee, al haafith عبد

بن عتبة بن مسعود الكوفي الحافظ هللاعبد ن بنالرحم , and he is a descendant of the great companion 'Abdu

Allaahe ben Mas'ood Al Huthalee \ابن مسعود الهذلي هللاعبد , and it is reported that no one of his time

knew more than him his Jurisprudence, reported on page two hundred fifty eight of his book "

Muruuju Al Thahabi مروج الذهب " the following:

The Kurds, their blood line and their habitations \ألكراد وأنسابهم ومساكنهما

معد بن نزار بنوأما أجناس األكراد وأنواعهم فقد تنازع الناس في بدئهم؛ فمنهم من رأى أنهم من ربيعة بن "

وجاوروا من هناك من األمم الساكنة ،،انفردوا في قديم الزمان، واضافوا إلى الجبال واألودية، دعتهم إلى ذلك األنفة*عدنان

المدن والعمائر من األعاجم والفرس، فحالوا عن لسانهم، وصارت لغتهم أعجمية، ولكل نوع من األكراد لغة لهم بالكردية،

كرد بن صعصعة بن هوازن، وأنهم انفردوا في قديم الزمان ، وأنهم من ولد**مضر بن نزارن ومن الناس من رأى أنهم م

، وقد أعتصموا في الجبال طلبا للمياه مضر، ومنهم من رأى أنهم من ربيعة و***غسانلوقائع ودماء كانت بينهم وبين

ألكراد فاألشهر عند الناس؛ واألصح من أنسابهم؛ وما قلنا من ا ...والمراعي فحالوا عن اللغة العربية لما جاورهم من األمم

، وهي أرض الدينور وهم الشوهجان ببالد ما بين الكوفة والبصرة -، فأما نوع من األكراد نزارأنهم من ولد ربيعة بن

بانية وهم من الكنكور ببالد أذر والهل -، والماجردان نزار بن معدفال تنا كما بينهم أنهم من ولد ربيعة بن -وهمدان

والسراة و ما حوى بالد الجبال من الشادنجان والمادنجان و المزدنكان والبارسان والخالية والجابارقية والجاوانية

، ومنهم اليعقوبية مضر بن نزارفالمشهور فيهم أنهم من -والمستكان و من حل بالد الشام من الدبابلة وغيرهم

وفي األكراد من رأيهم رأي الخوارج والبراءة من . الموصل وجبل الجوديوالجورقان وهم نصارى، وديارهم مما يلي بالد

".عنهما هللارضي عليو عثمان

This is the English translation of these words:

People have different opinions on the origin of the Kurds and on their different tribes.

Some scholars say they are the descendants of Rabee'ah ben Nezaar ben Ma'add ben 'Adnaan

\نزار بن معد بن عدنانربيعة بن , and that they have separated themselves from the rest of the Arabs

in ancient times, and settled down in the mountains and in the valleys. The reason for their

separating themselves from the rest of the Arabs was because they were very proud and looked

down on them.

In the new lands they had settled down, they became neighbors of the non-Arab races living

there, the 'Ajam \العجم that were of Iranian origin.

As a consequence to these contacts with the non-Arabs, they lost their Arabic language, and their

tongue became "'Ajam \عجم ". This way each Kurd tribe developed its own Kurdish language.

Other scholars said the Kurds are the descendant of Mudar ben Nezaar مضر بن نزار ****\, and

that they are the offspring of Kurd ben Sa'sa'ah ben Hawaazen \كرد بن صعصعة بن هوازن , and that

they moved out from the rest in ancient times.

The reason for their separation were events that happened and blood that were spilled between

them and the Arab tribe of Ghassaan***** \غسان .

Other scholars said that the Kurds are the descendants of Rabee'ah \ربيعة and Mudar مضر , (the

sons of Nezaar نزار ) and that they settled down in the mountain in their quest for water and

pasture for their herds. This way they lost their Arabic tongue, after they became neighbors of

non-Arabic nations.

There is a consensus that the Kurds called Al Shoohjaan \الشوهجان that live between Al Koofah

\الكوفة and Al Basrah \البصرة (both in Al 'Eraaq \العراق ) - and that is the land inhabited by Al

Deenwar \الدينور and Ham-thaan \همذان - are the descendants of Rabee'ah ben Nezaar ben Ma'add

\نزار بن معدربيعة بن .*****

The tribes of the Kurds of Al Maajardaan \الماجردان , living in Al Kankoor \الكنكور of the land of

Athar \أذر , and Al Halbaaneyah \الهلبانية , and Al Suraat \السراة and the area parallel to the mountains

of Al Shaadanjaan \الشادنجان and Al Maadanjaan \المادنجان and Al Mazdankaan \المزدنكان and Al

Baaresaan \البارسان and Al Khaaleya \الخالية and Jaabaarqeyah \ارقيةالجاب and Al

Jaawaaneyah \الجاوانية and Al Mustakaanالمستكان and most of the land of Al Shaam \الشام in Al

Dabaabelah \الدبابلة and others as well, are the descendants of Mudar ben Nezaar \مضر بن نزار .

Among them are Al Ya'qoobeyah \اليعقوبية and Al Joorqaan \الجورقان and they are Christians, and

their land is adjacent to Al Musal \الموصل (in Al 'Eraaq \العراق ) and Jabalu Al Juudeyyeالجبل الجودي

(Today - 2016 - part of the Republic of Turkey)

The Children of 'Adnaan عدنان

Al Sayyed 'Adnaan عدنان is the grandfather number twenty of Prophet Muhammad Sallaa

Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam, and his mother was Balhaa'u bentu Ya'reb ben

Qahtaan \بلهاء بنت يعرب بن قحطان . The name of Qahtaan \قحطان is Mehzam \مهزم , and that is why the

Prophet Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam is called "Al 'Adnaanee \العدناني ."

'Adnaan عدنان was the king of the Nabateans \األنباط , and he lived in his capital of Al Batraa-

u االبطراء /Petra, today in Jordan \الهاشميةالمملكة األردنية .

'Adnaan عدنان had two sons:

One) Ma'add ben 'Adnaanمعد بن عدنان .

(Laba) Cakk bin Cadnaan \عدنانعك بن .

Bukhtunassar بختنصر , the king of Babylon (586-568 Grgegorian) after defeating the kingdoms of

Israel and the kingdom of Judea, challenged the kingdom of the Nabateans \األنباط ruled by king

'Adnaan عدنان . The two armies met in Hasooraa' \حصوراء . Both armies suffered losses, but each

one of them went back home undefeated. Bukhtunassar بختنصر could nor defeat the Arabs.

Before this war started, 'Adnaan عدنان sent his two sons to his country of origin: Ma'addمعد to

Makkah Al Mukarramah \مكة المكرمة , and 'Akkعك to Al Yaman \اليمن , where they multiplied.

The Kurds are of 'Adnaan عدنان , and they are 'Adnaaneyyeen \انيينعدن .

Ma'add \معد the son 'Adnaan عدنان

Al Sayyed Ma'add ben 'Adnaan \معد بن عدنانالسيد is the grandfather number nineteen of

Prophet Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam and had the following

children:

(One) Nezaar ben Ma'add \ر بن معدنزا .

(Two) Jushamu ben Ma'add \معدجشم بن .

(Three) Selhemu ben Ma'add \معدسلهم بن .

(Four) Junaadatu ben Ma'add \معدجنادة بن .

(Five) Qunaasatu ben Ma'add \معدقناصة بن .

(Six) Qanasu ben Ma'add \معدقنص بن .

(Seven) Sanaamu ben Ma'add \معدسنام بم .

(Eight) 'Awf ben Ma'add \معدعوف بن : his descendants died out.

(Nine) Haydaanu ben Ma'add \معدحيدان بن they are part of the tribe of Qudaa'ah قضاعة .

(Ten) Awdu ben Ma'add \معدأود بن .

(Eleven) Qudaa'atu ben Ma'add \معدقضاعة بن , he settled in Al Yaman \يمن .

(Twelve) Qunusa ben Ma'add \معدقنص بن , his dscendants are extinct and of them was Al

Nu'maanu ben Al Munther \النعمان بن مامنذر , the king of Al Heerata \الحيرة in Al 'Eraaq \العراق .

(Thirteen) Iyaada ben Ma'add \معدإياد بن .

Nezaar ben Ma'add ben 'Adnaan \ر بن معد بن عدناننزا

Al Sayyed Nezaar \نزار is the grandfather number eighteen of Prophet Muhammad Sallaa السيد

Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam and his mother was Mu'aanatu bentu Jawshaan Al

Jurhamii \ \معانة بنت جوشان الجرهمي . He had the following four sons:

(One) Mudar ben Nezaar \مضر بن نزار .

(Two) Rabee'atu ben Nezaar \نزارربيعة بن .

(Three) Anmaar ben Nezaar \نزارأنمار بن .

(Four) Eyaad ben Nezaar \نزارإياد بن . Most of the tribes of Eyaad live today in south-west Iran,

where oil is extracted, and in northern 'Eraaq \العراق .

Mudar ben Nezaar \مضر بن نزار

Al Sayyed Mudar ben Nezaar \مضر بن نزار is the grandfather number seventeen of Prophet السيد

Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam and his mother was Sawdata

bentu 'Akk ben 'Adnaan \عدنانسودة بنت عك بن .

Al Daylamee \الديلمي reported that Prophet Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe

Wa Sallam said:

."ال تسبوا مضر وال ربيعة، فإنهما كانا مؤمنين"

The Hadeeth means:

"Do not insult Mudar مضر nor Rabee'ah ربيعة , because both were two Muslims-Believers."

The Children of Al Sayyed Mudar ben Nezaar \السيد مضر بن نزار

Al Sayyed Mudar ben Nezaar \السيد مضر بن نزار had the following two sons:

(One) Elyaas ben Mudar \إلياس بن مضر who is the grandfather number sixteen of Prophet

Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam.

(Two) 'Aylaan ben Mudar \عيالن , and their mother is Al Rebaabu bentu Haydata ben Ma'add ben

'Adnaan معد بن عدنانالرباب بنت حيدة بن .

Al Sayyed Elyaas ben Mudar \السيد إلياس بن مضر

Al Sayyed Elyaas ben Mudar \إلياس بن مضر السيد is the grandfather number sixteen of Prophet

Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam, and he was the first to donate

"Al Hadye \الهدي " to the Ka'bah \الكعبة , the House of Allaah \بيت هللا . He split the hump of the

camels he was driving open and let blood drip down from it as a sign that it is a donation to the

House of Allaah \بيت هللا . This procedure and sign is used until today.

It is reported that Prophet Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam said:

."ال تسبوا إلياس، فإنه كان مؤمنا"

The Hadeeth means:

"Do not insult Elyaas إلياس , for he was a Believer."

The children of Elyaas إلياس

Elyaas ben Mudar/ إلياس بن مضر had three sons:

(One) Mudrekatu ben Elyaas \مدركة بن إلياس Mudrekatu مدركة is a nickname and his name is

'Aamer \عامر . Mudrekatu مدركة is the grandfather number fifteen of Prophet Muhammad Sallaa

Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam.

(Two) Taabekhatu ben Elyaas \إلياسطابخة بن , and his name is 'Amr \عمرو .

(Three) Qam'ata ben Elyaas \إلياسقمعة بن .

The mother of all three of them is Khendef bentu 'Emraan ben Ilhaaf ben Qudaa'ah خندف بنت

\عمران بن الحاف بن قضاعة .

When Elyaas إلياس died, his wife Khendef خندف died of grief, for she loved her husband very

much, and her love and grief for him became an Arab proverb.

*The Kurds are 'Adnaaneyyeen \عدنانيين , and their bloodline joins that of Prophet Muhammad

Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam at 'Adnaan \عدنان . This means the Kurds are

cousins of Prophet Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam.

**Mudar \مضر is the tribe of Prophet Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa

Sallam. The Kurds that are of that tribe are closer cousins of Prophet Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu

'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam. Quraysh \قريش are from Mudarمضر. The man who has the

key of the Ka'bah \الكعبة in his hand today is of the tribe of 'Abdu Al Daar ben Qusayy عبد الدار بن

\قصي of Quraysh \قريش . He has the key, and not the king of Saudi Arabia.The key was given to

his ancestor 'Uthmaan ben Talhah \عثمان بن طلحة by Prophet Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe

Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam on the day of the conquest of Makkah Al Mukarramah \مكة المكرمة ,

as in Aayah fifty eight of Sooratu Al Nesaa-e \سورة النساء . 'Uthmaan when he was about to die

gave the key to his brother Shaybah \شيبة , and it will be with his descendants until the Day of

Judgement, as Prophet Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam

commanded. This family is called Banoo Shaybah \بنو شيبة from this Shaybahشيبة.

***Ghassaan is an Arab tribe from Al Yaman \اليمن .

During the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu 'Alayhe Wa 'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam

Al Shaam \الشام was part of the Roman Empire and the rulers of Al Shaam \الشام on behalf of the

Roman Emperor Heraclius were of this tribe of Ghassaan \غسان .

*****Rabee'ah ben Nezaar \نزارربيعة بن is the ancestor of the tribes of the ruling families of

"Aala Sa'ood \آل سعود of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia \ديةالمملكة العربية السعو , Aala Khaleefah آل

\خليفة of the the State of Bahrayn \دولة البحرين , and Aala Al Sabaah \آل الصباح of the State of

Kuwayt \دولة الكويت . The tribe of these three ruling families is 'Anzah ben Waa-el \عنزة بن وائل

called also Bakr ben Waa-el \بكر بن وائل and Taghleb \تغلب .

The original Ur-Heimat/Habitation of this tribe was 'Aynu Al Tamr \عين التمر in southern 'Eraaq

\العراق . Then, because of a severe draught, some of them moved to the region of Najd \نجد , where

the capital of Saudi Arabia of Reyaad \رياض is located less than two hundred years ago, and

others moved to the north and settled in Al Shaam \الشام /Syria, which might be one of the reasons

why the kingdom of Saudi Arabia is involved in the war in Syriah \الجمهورية العربية السورية .

The killing of Al Sayyed Al Husayn ben Faatemah \الحسين بن فاطمة 'Alayhessalaamu: the

crime scene: Karblaaكربالء

Karbalaa \كربالء , today, is a city distant about eighty kilometers from the city of Al Koofah \الكوفة ,

in Al 'Eraaq \العراق . The distance between Baghdad \بغداد and Al Koofahالكوفة is about one hundred

seventy kilometers. Karbalaaكربالء is between Baghdadالكوفة and Al Koofahالكوفة and to the west

of both of them.

This region of Al 'Eraaq \العراق is the tribal territory of three tribes, namely Bakr bin Waa-el بكر بن

\وائل and Taghleb \تغلب - the tribes of the kings of Aala Su'ood \آل سعود of Saudi Arabia المملكة العربية

\السعودية , Aala Al Sabaah \آل صباح , the rulers of Kuwayt \دولة الكويت , and Aala Khaleefah \آل خليفة ,

the rulers of Bahrain \دولة البحرين ; and the tribe of Banoo Tameem \بنوتميم , the tribe of the rulers of

Qatar \دولة قطر and of Muhammad bin 'Abdu Al Wahhaab \محمد بن عبد الوهاب , the founder of

"Wahabism \الوهابية " and founder of the hate of Prophet Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu 'Alyhe Wa

'Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam in the last century, and who, also, introduced changes to the tenants of

Islam.

This region is also inhabited by Shee'ah \الشيعة . The Shee'ahالشيعة had invited Al Husayn \الحسين

'Alayhessalaamu to 'Eraaq \العراق , and when he came, they killed him. He was killed by a man

called Zur'ah ben Shurayk \زرعة بن شريك التميمي - a cousin of Muhammad ben 'Abdu Al

Wahhaab \محمد بن عبد الوهاب , founder of the Wahabism.

The tribal territories of Bakr ben Waa-el \بكر بن وائل , Taghleb \تغلب and Banoo Tameem \بنوتميم in

the Arabian Peninsula \الجزيرة العربية .
