conduct  a  third  season  of  research  and  teaching  at  the  Pigg  Site  (5MT4802).    2008   $41,138.00  Grant    from  the  Colorado  State  Historical  Fund  (Contract  #2008-­‐02-­‐022)  to

Interstate  19  Data  Recovery.    Testing  and  recovery  project  involving  mapping,  surface  collection,  and  excavation  of  12  sites  in  Fairfield  Homes’  Canoa  Ranch  Property,  Green  Valley,  Pima  County,  Arizona.    Sites  span  from  the  Archaic  period  through  the  Hohokam  Classic  period.

Recovery.    Large  data  recovery  project  involving  excavation  of  18  sites  in  Salt  River  Project’s  Fence  Lake  coal  mine  and  transportation  corridor.    Sites  span  from  the  Archaic  period  through  the  Historical  period.    Fieldwork  to  begin  Fall  2001  or  Spring  2002.  

 2001   Project  director,  Statistical  Research,  Inc.    October.    Arivaca  Sewer  Line  Survey.    Survey  

of  the  new  alignment  of  the  Pima  County  Wastewater  Department’s  proposed  gravity  sewer  line  on  the  Canoa  Ranch  Property,  Green  Valley,  Arizona.      

 2001   Project  Director,  Statistical  Research,  Inc.    September  2001.    Ak-­‐Chin  Recreational  

Center  Testing  Project.    Subsurface  testing  of  more  than  12  acres  for  the  Ak-­‐Chin  Indian  Community,  Pinal  County,  Arizona.    Documented  both  prehistoric  and  historical  period  surface  components,  but  found  very  little  subsurface  material.

Directed  testing  of  AZ  BB:9:356  (ASM)  for  Pima  County’s  Pantano  Wash  bank  stabilization  project.    No  subsurface  cultural  deposits  were  discovered.  

 2001   Project  Director,  Statistical  Research,  Inc.    May  2001.    San  Pedro  Estates  Testing.      

Directed  backhoe  testing  of  a  portion  of  the  Zanardelli  Site  (AZ  BB:13:12  [ASM])    and  AZ  BB:12:70  (ASM)  in  the  southern  Tucson  Basin,  north  of  Sahuarita,  Arizona.    No  buried  cultural  deposits  were  discovered.  

 2000   Project  Director,  Statistical  research,  Inc.    May  –  June  2000.    Badger  Hole  Ranch  Data  

Recovery.    Directed  field  work  for  the  final  phase  of  Pima  County’s  Thornydale  Road  Widening  Project.    Excavated  7  pit  structures  and  more  than  50  of  100  additional  extramural  features.  

 1999  –  present.    Chodistaas  site  report,  University  of  Arizona,  ongoing  involvement  in  writing  

and  producing  the  Chodistaas  site  report.    Responsibilities  include  all  illustration  tasks,  writing  of  the  architectural  analysis  and  community  growth  study,  and  descriptive  sections.
