Our culture today is so fixed on what we deserve. What is in it for me? What do I gain out of it? God calls us to live radically different. Instead of being self absorbed, grasping and clambering up the ladder of success, God has asked us to live for Him and for others. Instead of living your life pursuing the latest phone, the fastest car, the biggest house, the latest must have or-whatever, God calls us to first and foremost to pursue a relationship with Him. Instead of being sucked into to our media saturated, God dishonoring, “tolerant” society, take time to plant the Word of God deep into your heart. Learn. Grow. Act. Go. Learn Learn more about the Bible and ministry life through five 3-credit University courses as well as other assigned reading. Grow Grow in your relationship to God through times of prayer, worship and reading His Word. There will also be discipleship/mentoring sessions with mentors in the congregation and the pastors of Chilliwack Alliance Church. Act There will be opportunities to serve and be involved in a variety of ways in the Young Adult ministry, and in other ministries this church offers. You will see what it means to build up the local church and you will have the chance to participate in several ministries in the church on Sunday mornings. Go You will be involved with local outreach as well as having the opportunity to participate in a missions trip to one of the areas Chilliwack Alliance Church is involved.
