They are used to measure temperature from -400 °C to 600 °C. They are unequal in performance. Stability over long period of continued use makes them unmatched for reliability. THERMOWELL: Thermo well provide complete protection for sensor elements (temperature, pressure etc.). They are designed considering optimum pressure, temperature, critical frequency, the nature of media (abrasive, corrosive etc) and intensity of flow of media. These are made from bar stock from Stainless Steel and Alloys etc. as per the requirement and the operating conditions. Thermo wells are available in screwed type, pipe threads, flanged with ANSI, B.S., JIS, DIN Standards. Thermo well allows removing or replacing of sensor instruments without draining or shutting down of process.
