Any skin type needs morning and evening cleansing. Oily skin must be cleansed several times daily. In the evening, the process removes dirt and make-up from the skin; and in the morning, it cleanses the skin's metabolic secretions and dead skin cells eliminated overnight.

Cleansing agents should be selected with regard to skin type and current skin condition. In any case, they should be gentle and should not irritate or dry the skin.
