Synopsis
For the last 23 years, a group of friends have lived life to the fullest...in the fantasy world. Obsessed with a role playing game called Demons, Nymphs and Dragons these Gamers are the subject of this hilarious comedy which chronicles their journey to make it through their horrendous lives while attempting to break the world record for role playing over 74,558 hours.

Cast
KEVIN SHERWOD Kevin Sherwood is one of the stars of Gamers and an executive producer. In addition, Kevin wrote and performed 10 original songs for the movie. Kevin plays the character of ‘Kevin’, the ‘dungeon lord’, who is so into creating the perfect dungeon that he customized songs for the groups’ role playing adventures. This is Kevin's first lead in a major motion picture. He is an accomplished musician and
performs in a rock band called Whiplads.
KEVIN KIRKPATRICK Kevin Kirkpatrick is one of the top improv artist in America. Kevin is a teacher and performer at the Groundlings in Los Angeles, CA. His filmography and TV guest appearances includes Joe Schmo 2, Stacked, Arrested Development and Gilmore Girls. JOE NIEVES Joe Nieves television and film career includes several guest appearances on national shows like: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, NYPD Blue, The X Files, 24, Six Feet Under and more. He can be seen on the big screen on films like “Cottonmouth” or "Carnival Sun". He can be seen as the bartender Carl on "How I met your mother" on CBS and is now one of the lead characters on ABC's new
drama "Day Break" where he plays the bad guy Fencik. In Gamers, he portrays an Argentinean that joins a group guys in the lifetime journey into the virtual world of DND.
SCOTT ALLEN RINKER Born and raised in Virginia, Scott studied Acting at George Mason University and graduated with a B.A. in Theater. His work in shows such as Two Gentlemen of Verona and Hedda Gabler earned him four separate nominations to the American College Theater Festival to compete for the Irene Ryan Acting Award. After graduation he worked in Washington, D.C. at such theaters as the Kennedy Center, the Source and the
Washington Stage Guild and was invited to become a company member of the Everyman Theatre in Baltimore, Md. His stage work includes Buried Child, Romeo and Juliet, I Hate Hamlet and The Living. Since moving to Los Angeles
he has had guest appearances on shows such as Crossing Jordan; Without a Trace; Star Trek: Enterprise; Buffy, the Vampire Slayer; Boston Public; The Drew Carey Show and the telefilm, The Day Lincoln was Shot, for TNT. He currently is the "Snapple Guy" for Snapple and has a guest starring role on the "Ghost Whisperer". He has starred in several independent films including: Shoot or be Shot, Falling and Code Hunter. His work in Tomorrow by Midnight earned him a nomination for the Breakthrough Acting Award at the 2001 Method Festival. He currently lives in Sherman Oaks with his wife, actress Cathleen Kaelyn, and two enormously possessive cats.
DAVE HANSON Dave Hanson plays the most pathetic character in any movie ever made. His character is named Reese and he is, without a doubt, the worst RPG player in the world and a very unhappy individual. Let's just say he had issues. Unlike his character, Dave Hanson is an incredible comedic actor who also happens to do stand-up. Catch him at the Improv on Melrose before the boy blows up big time!
JOHN HEARD John Heard is the quintessential "actor's actor" on both stage and screen. A graduate of Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, John Heard began his career on the stage, winning multiple awards in both Chicago and New York, including a 1976-77 Theatre World Award and Obie Awards for his off-Broadway performances in Othello and Split. His early screen successes include performances
in Cutter's Way, Chilly Scenes of Winter, and as Jack Kerouac in Heart Beat. From there, he built his career with starring roles in films such as Big, The Pelican Brief, Beaches, Home Alone, Awakenings, In the Line of Fire and Pollock. John has turned in many memorable performances on the small screen as well. He was nominated for a Cable ACE Award for Best Actor in a TV Movie for his 1987 performance in Tender is the Night, and his recent turn in the 1999
between being a mother and an actress with performances showcasing her talents as a vocalist. She is currently starring in Entourage on HBO and has several new movie roles planned. She performs every Tuesday at the Lucky Seven Club in Hollywood. A native of Columbus, Ohio, D'Angelo spent her teens in Florence, Italy, where she studied visual arts at the American School. Returning to the United States, she accepted an animator position with Hanna Barbera in Los Angeles. The fast pace, however, left her yearning for smaller pastures. She turned to folk music, theatre, and eventually film. And the long and winding road of her career led her to our door.
WILLIAM KATT William Katt has been working as a professional actor for more than two decades. His earlier film credits include the role of a jock in the 1976 film “Carrie”, and the role of the Sundance Kid in the 1978 film “Butch and Sundance; The Early Days.” Katt then got the role of Ralph Hinkley, a mild-mannered schoolteacher who is given a flying suit by aliens, on the television series “The Greatest American Hero” in 1981.
MICHAEL BELL Michael Bell is probably best known for his outstanding work as a voice actor, most notably as the narrator for the "e! True Hollywood Story" series. He also has the longest listing of credits on the internet movie database that I have ever seen. Seriously. You should take a look. I can't even begin to list all of his film credits and frankly, I can't imagine what possessed such a prestigious actor to take part in this film.
KELLY LEBROCK Kelly LeBrock is probably best known for her outstanding roles as Charlotte in “The Woman in Red” and Lisa in “Weird Science”, although most recently, she applied her dazzling screen presence to a little comedy called Gamers. In her spare time, she raises three beautiful children, as well as several goats, horses, and dogs. And somehow, she still finds time to be nice to all the geeks on our crew.
MEREDITH ZEALY Meredith Zealy is a talented actress who has done it all. From giving the best performance in The Notebook to guest star roles in "Three Sisters", "Crossing Jordan", and "Just Shoot Me". In addition to filming, Meredith loves surfing, rock climbing, martial arts, stunt driving and everything else
that scares her - talents that landed her the role as Britney Murphy's right hand woman in the film Little Black Book. She also volunteers weekly as a hot line counselor at the Suicide Prevention Center in Los Angeles.
YVONNE ARIAS Yvonne Arias is a rising star who has recently performed in several Independent features including Gamers. She is quickly the first to admit that Gamers is by far the best of the lot. She has even been overheard saying Gamers was a life changing experience that she wouldn’t trade for the world. She has also appeared in several national television shows including: Passions, Scrubs and ER.
In Gamers she portrays Veronica, the girlfriend of an Argentinean named Fernando.
NIKO POSEY Niko Posey hails from Chicago, Illinois and is one of the brightest and funniest actresses in the industry today. In addition to acting Niko is an incredible singer and one of the most charismatic individuals you'll ever meet. While working at the Sweet Bean Cafe in Chicago, at the young age of eighteen. Niko was approached to become a model and was quickly signed by the Susanne Johnson Modeling
Agency later she would be signed by the Ford model and Talent agency where she also began her Acting career. Niko easily moved into acting where she has appeared on numerous Television shows such as Will and Grace, Karen Sisco and First Monday. Even more impressive, is the fact that Sprint tapped her to be the "Funny Singing Girl" for one of their most famous TV Campaigns “Tha Bank”
BEN MESSMER Ben Messmer enjoys jumping from the stage to the screen and vice versa because there’s only a 2 foot gap. He has been seen onstage in the last 9 months as a tap dancer who chops up bodies, an obese French drunk in the 1600’s, a studio exec who morphs into a lizard, and is currently working on a jealous Martian husband who shoots a gun full of bees at the humans his wife dreams about, for Ray
Bradbury. Ben is also a hard core gamer, which makes his role in the film all that much more a thing of beauty.
CHRIS HOLLYFIELDChris Hollyfield is a man of the world and a lover of all things that deal with the Night Life. No, he’s not a Vampire, he just loves to party. He is also a well known and respected motivational speaker who helps children learn to
love and accept themselves. This is not a joke, the kids love him and so do the cast and crew of Gamers. And he loves everybody, especially the ladies. Sometimes he loves a little too much and a little too often, but love is love right? That’s what he says anyway. In Gamers, Chris plays a man who happens to be in the wrong place at the right time to become the center of a huge misunderstanding.
