FAMILY NEWS

Our time with God on the Lord’s day was

enjoyable. We miss you when you are not with

us. Let’s all be present this coming Sunday.

Your generosity was seen again in our giving on

Sunday, January 28, for our

renovation fund. Thank you for

your giving to enhance our

auditorium. Since February of

2017 through January 28, 2018

you have given $91,151.12.

The Angleton church cares about planning for

the future of our congregation.

Just as we were blessed by our

predecessors about fifty years

ago, we are planning for the

church thirty or more years in the

future. The amount you have

given plus $50,000 from the church account puts

us in a positive position to work on phase 1.

Let’s continue to pray for our renovation until we

have completed phase 1 and 2.

When the baptistry arrived on January 29

several men came to unload it and

place it in our building. We

appreciate these guys for their

help. The men who moved the

baptistry were Dan Talbot, Rob

Robinson, Bill Walker, Curtis Sanford, Jeff King,

Zach Willis, J.W. Fagan, and Ethan Anderson.

Your family and you need to be in Bible school

each week. Our Sunday morning

Bible school is at 9:30 and

Wednesday evening is at 7:00.

We have Bible classes for all

ages. Bring your family and be present.

Wednesday Night with the Master is going good.

Our fellowship is always

encouraging. Your family and you

will benefit from this fellowship. Take time to be

present each Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.

I appreciate your positive comments on last

Sunday’s sermon. The lesson on

faithfulness several people

expressed their appreciation for it.

I would like for you to pray for me in

my study and preparation for our

lesson each week.

Connection is a key word for us in 2018. Are

you connecting to others in our

church family? The bulletin you

receive each week in worship

and the card you fill out has this

word on them. Therefore, let us connect with

someone new in our church family.

I hope you are reading the New Testament in

2018. There are many in our

congregation who are reading.

Let’s make it 100 percent. This

can be accomplished by you
