Project “Success”

All three projects are part of a big project called “Success”

Its aims are: To form skills for a healthy lifestyle, socially

acceptable behavior, civil and social competence. To give meaning to the free time of students by

giving them the chance to aim for their preferred way of self expression.

To lower the amount of drop out and aggressive behavior in students.

Improve their communication, tolerance and team work skills.

Mathematical linguistics

Mathematical linguistics is an interesting and engaging discipline. You have to be observant to find the regularity and logic that are needed to

solve mathematical problems and for them to be put into practice.

Subjects worked on in this project

• Phonetics/crossword puzzles, avalanche sentences.

• Games and logic.• Translational correspondence.• Demonstration of knowledge

Competitions

In the 2013-2014 school year six students have participated and were classified for the regional math linguistics competition.

One of our students was admitted for the national round of the competition.

In the 2013/2014 school year the students have accomplished many tasks, some of which include creating:• A school

A visit to the editor’s office ofthe “Kozloduy Today” newspaper

During their visit the group was introduced to the artistic process of television and journalism.

The editor in chief mrs Dilova introduced them to the technological methods of creating the local newspaper , the innovations and preferences in the in the media and internet advertisement, with the tendencies of the contemporary market.

Results of the projects

Improvement of the relations between students

The students were motivated to participate in extra-curricular activities.

All of the projects had educational effect and taught the students valuable skills.

Improvement of team work amongst the students

The students acquired various qualities: ambition,a sense of responsibility, inspiration for participation, precision, organizational skills.
