The California Public Utilities Commission’s Safety and Enforcement Division will host a two-day public workshop in R. 15-05-006 to discuss the Draft Fire Map 1 Review & Development Report (Fire Map 1 Report) and Alternate Proposals (if any). The Fire Map 1 Report is being developed by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) and its team of independent experts. The purpose of the Fire Map 1 is to develop a statewide fire-threat map that depicts the physical and environmental conditions associated with an elevated potential for utility-associated wildfires, and

ultimately to assist in the development of stronger fire-safety standards. It is possible that Commissioners and/or their advisors may be present. However, even if a quorum of Commissioners were to be present, no voting would occur.
