Perform comprehensive patient vitals, review patient medical history, physical information, medications and procedure request. Complete documentation, verify sleep study order, perform sleep study per protocol. Prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and make adjustments if necessary. Apply electrodes and sensors according to accepted standards determined by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Perform routine positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fitting. Perform polysomnographic data acquisition while monitoring study-tracing quality to ensure signals are artifact free and make adjustments if necessary.Starting at $15 an hour.
