What is the Tiffany Circle?

The Tiffany Circle is a society of women leaders and philanthropists. These women follow in the footsteps of a long line of female leaders making a signifi cant impact in the humanitarian work of the Red Cross - helping the most vulnerable people in their local communities and throughout the world.

An International Network of Women

An innovative group of women with the American Red Cross started the fi rst Tiffany Circle in 2007. Today, they have more than 850 members contributing more than $8.5 million annually to ensure the Red Cross will be there to help those in greatest need. Inspired by this success, national societies of the Red Cross are starting Tiffany Circles in countries such as Canada, Mexico, the UK, the Netherlands, France, and Japan.

Tiffany Circle members are easily identifi able as they wear the exclusive Tiffany Circle bracelet adorned with a Red Cross.

“I proudly wear the Red Cross symbol on my Tiffany bracelet. This is only the beginning of the Tiffany Circle of the Canadian Red Cross and I have great hopes for what we will accomplish together. It has been said that ‘women are like snowfl akes: one alone may melt, but enough of us together can stop traffi c’.”

The Tiffany Circle Inspiration

The founding members were inspired by the beautiful windows produced by Tiffany Studios in 1917 for the American Red Cross headquarters in Washington, D.C. As an act of reconciliation and hope, the windows were paid for with a donation by two women’s groups of $5,000 each – the original $10,000 gift.
