Dear Carroll Community,

As another school year begins, the time honored tradition of Texas high school football kicks off to fill our lives and Friday nights with the excitement and enjoyment of extra-curricular activities across our great state. Being a part of this is an educational tool that enriches the lives of students and brings the community together like no other way.

As a school and district leader, I would like to welcome all of you to our games this fall and all year long. As part of a staff, the efforts and accomplishments of our students bring a sense of pride to us, as well as the parents, family, and friends associated with their efforts. Tiger Football is just another example of excellence in action. This excellence is mirrored by all of the other teams, as well as the other student organizations associated with tonight’s game and performances all year long.

A heartfelt thanks goes out to all of our students for using these activities to learn and grow. Additional thanks go to the parents, families, and community members that support the efforts and dedication of these students with their caring, time, and resources. We thank all of you that allow us to teach, coach, and be a part of the lives of these Tigers. All of our efforts continue to make Mary Carroll High School the Campus of Champions.

Go Tigers!Charles E. ChacherePrincipal

Dear Tiger Football Fans,

On behalf of the Office of Athletics, we would like to welcome you to the upcoming Carroll football season, 2012 will be the first year of the new realignment. This year Carroll will face local rival King and familiar faces from San Antonio with East Central, South San and Southwest. A new op-ponent to District 28-5A is perennial powerhouse Cibolo Steele.

As I attend the games this year, everyone will be expecting to see the tra-ditional sea of Tiger Blue and Tiger Stripes throughout the stadium. It is great to see the strong support from the player’s family, classmates, teach-ers and administration. Also, with any high school athletic team, we sin-cerely appreciate the support of the Big Cat Booster Club in being a part of the strength behind the players as they participate on the field.

Thank you, Carroll parents and business community for your hard work in producing this media guide. Best wishes on a great season!

Family-owned and operated. Victor Ricondo, Marine VeteranJohn 14:6

Victor Ricondo, Marine Veteran, credits his strength, dedication and determination to suc-ceed to God first, wife, parents, discipline and his United States Marine Corps. background. Meet Victor and Nelda Ricondo. Victor and Nelda married in 1998 and started a family. Both continued to pursue their ca-reers, Victor a Private Investigator and Nelda, a Registered Nurse, along with raising a fam-ily of five. It wasn’t long before Victor real-ized that he needed to supplement his income in order to make ends meet. He decided to take the leap of FAITH and opened a small busi-ness… Faith Power Washing was established in 2003 in San Antonio, TX. Their first client was Rent-A-Center, a total of 55 vehicles, truly a blessing. After a year of hard work, the business grew and Victor’s full-time job as a private inves-tigator became part-time and Nelda continued to work as a Registered Nurse. It wasn’t long before Victor had to quit his job to dedicate more time to build the business. Since then FPW has experienced growth, and now serves over fifty new clients. Victor incorporated the business in 2011 to M6:33 (Mathew 6:33) Facility Ser-vices Inc., a reminder to put God first and to reflect the variety of services they offer. They are located in San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi, Rio Grande Valley, and also service Laredo, Houston, and the surround-ing areas. In 2009, Victor and his family moved to Corpus Christi. Due to his son’s illness, Doctors highly rec-ommended Victor and his family to live in a coastal environment. Victor said, “The Lord guided me to a place where my children would live comfortably,

and blessing me in many ways.” He mentions a scripture that states as follows: Genesis 12:1 Now Jehovah said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, unto the land that I will show thee: and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee. Joshua 1:2-9 It was then he was inspired to provide a full ser-vice business for busy working families. A place where you can get your car detailed while you get your hair styled, for both men, women and children, do some last minute gift shopping and maybe even being shuttled to dinner and a movie while your auto gets serviced. Now that’s convenience! “Being a family man, juggling work, family time is every-thing,” Victor says. In 2011, Victor & Nelda were inspired to open a one stop convenient shopping experience for the family. Isaiah’s Valet Detailing caters to every-one…. families, businesses, and even to the worka-

holic with free Wi-Fi and coffee. Victor believes in fresh starts and giving everyone equal opportunity employment in a drug-free environment. He treats employees like family and believes in second chances. He hopes to make a difference in their life in a positive way. Men’s group meetings are held every Thurs-day night at Isaiah’s Detailing by THUGS MINISTRY (Transforming Humans under God’s Supervision). Victor believes by im-proving someone’s quality of life, we, the com-munity also reap the benefits. Victor & Nelda credit the Lord Jesus Christ, Christian values, and their strong dedication to community to their success. Their vision is to keep growing and serving.

Life is like Football, a game of inches. You dream, you practice and now you’re here. An inch can determine victory or defeat. So now it’s time to fight for every inch. Take nothing for granted and keep fighting to the end.
