    Time to Play Art Competition 2013

    IWC Schaffhausen is a Global Partner of Laureus and is committed to supporting the Laureus Sport for GoodFoundation. To celebrate the partnership, IWC Schaffhausen invite all project participants aged between four(4) and eighteen (18) to submit a piece of art, which could feature on the 2014 IWC Schaffhausen LaureusSport for Good Foundation special edition watch.

    Entries:For the first time since its inception, the competition provides for the use of different art forms, that is thecompetition is not just limited to drawings.

    All entries must be an interpretation of the theme Time to Play.Accepted entry formats include:

    Drawing Painting

    Photography

    Graffiti (submitted via photo)

    Before entering the competition it is important to read all the Conditions of Entry which are attached.

    Prizes:

    The winning entry will be engraved on the back of the 2014 IWC Schaffhausen Laureus Sport for GoodFoundation special edition watch

    The winning project will receive a special visit from the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation and adonation from IWC Schaffhausen.

    The winner will receive a special prize from IWC Schaffhausen

    Entrants must be between the age of 4 and 18.

    Entries must be accompanied by the Entry and Consent Form signed by their parents or legal guardian.

    IWC Schaffhausen and the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation regret they cannot return entries.

    The author of the winning project will be contacted before October 2013.

    The Laureus Sport for Good Foundation and IWC Schaffhausen reserve the right to offer the prize to arunner up if the winner cannot be contacted.

    Entry requirements:The artwork must fit inside the circle provided. This is because the winning entry will be engraved on the backof the watch and will be made smaller than the actual artwork submitted. Please also remember that colours willnot be visible. The 2014 IWC Schaffhausen Laureus Sport for Good Foundation special edition watch will havea screw in back. Therefore, the engraving may vary slightly on each watch. It is important, that the artwork isviewable from all angles of 360. In other words, the entry should be clearly visible from all points of the circleand should make sense, even if its upside down or on its side. By way of example below you will see somegood and some bad examples.

    Conditions of Entry:

    1. By submitting your artwork to the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation for this competition you confirmthat the artwork is your own original work and not copied from any other work.

    2. Only one entry will be accepted per person. IWC Schaffhausen and the Laureus Sport for GoodFoundation reserves the right to request proof of age and participation in one of the Laureus Sport forGood Projects/specified programme as set out above.

    3. By entering the competition and submitting your artwork you agree to grant IWC Schaffhausen and theLaureus Sport for Good Foundation, free of charge, the irrevocable right to use and license to othersuse of the artwork worldwide without limitation, for all IWC Schaffhausen/Laureus Sport for GoodFoundation purposes including but not limited to the promotion of the 2014 IWC Schaffhausen LaureusSport For Good Foundation special edition watch and the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation.

    4. IWC Schaffhausen/Laureus Sport for Good Foundation purposes means the administration of thecompetition, scanning and publication of the artwork, using and reproducing the artwork on the back ofthe 2014 special edition watch, on and in relation to the promotion of the 2014 IWC SchaffhausenLaureus Sport for Good Foundation special edition watch, displaying the artwork on televis ion and onall other communication platforms, including the internet, for the benefit of the Laureus Sport for GoodFoundation and its objectives, on display at exhibitions of all sorts, publication in all media and/or inconnection with Laureus Sport for Good Foundation promotional materials; in particular, IWCSchaffhausen and Laureus Sport for Good Foundation have each the right to reproduce, exploit,distribute, display, make available and modify, adapt, change, enhance or make derivative works fromthe artwork, as is deemed necessary in their opinion in order to produce and promote the 2014 IWCSchaffhausen Laureus Sport for Good Foundation special edition watch and Laureus Sport for GoodFoundation.

    5. The name of the winner will not be explicitly stated on the 2014 IWC Schaffhausen Laureus Sport forGood special edition watch. Further, the winner, runners up and their parents or legal guardians agreethat the names of the winning children do not need to be referenced in connection with the presentationof the winning artwork if IWC Schaffhausen and/or Laureus Sport for Good Foundation at its/their owndiscretion decide not to mention them.

    6. However, the winner and runners up may be invited to take part in post-competition publicity if sorequested by IWC Schaffhausen or Laureus Sport for Good Foundation. IWC Schaffhausen and theLaureus Sport for Good Foundation, respectively, may use, free of charge, any photos or audiovisualmaterial taken of the winner and runners-up together with the names of the winner and runners up inconnection with any post competition publicity and the winner and runners up and his/her parents orlegal guardians hereby grant permission to IWC Schaffhausen and Laureus Sport for Good Foundation,the irrevocable right to make, use and reproduce any photographs and audiovisual materials including

    representations of the winning children in relation to the promotion of the 2014 IWC SchaffhausenLaureus Sport for Good Foundation special edition watch and the Laureus Sport for Good Foundationin all forms and in all media, including the internet, and in all manners by any method or device nowknown or hereafter devised in which the same may be used, and/or incorporated and/or exhibited,without any restriction as to changes or alterations (including but not limited to composite or distortedrepresentations) in connection with the promotion of the 2014 IWC Schaffhausen Laureus Sport forGood Foundation special edition watch, its use, advertising, sale and distribution worldwide.

    7. Furthermore, the winner and runners up and his/her parents or legal guardians agree that the winnerand runners up will not assert or maintain against either IWC Schaffhausen or Laureus Sport for GoodFoundation, their successors, assigns and licensees, any claim, action, suit or demand either of a

    monetary nature or of any kind whatsoever, including but not limited to, those grounded upon invasionof privacy, rights of publicity or personality or other civil rights, or for any other reason in connection withIWC Schaffhausens and Laureus Sport for Good Foundations authorized use of the winners andrunners up images and as herein provided.

    8. The decision of the competition judging panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into witheither the parents and/or legal representatives of the competitors.

    9. IWC Schaffhausen and Laureus Sport for Good Foundation reserve the right to cancel this competitionat any stage, if deemed necessary in their opinion, or in the event of circumstances arising beyond theircontrol.

    10. Other than set out in these Conditions of Entry, IWC Schaffhausen/Laureus Sport for Good Foundation

    will only use the personal information provided in the Entry and Consent Form for the purposes ofadministering this competition, and will not publish them or provide them to any other person withoutfirst seeking and receiving permission from the winner and runners up via his or her parents or legalguardians, unless we are obliged or permitted to do so by law. Personal information relating to entrantswill be retained by IWC Schaffhausen/Laureus Sport for Good for a reasonable period after thecompetition closes to assist in operating the competition in a consistent manner and to deal with anyqueries relating to the competition.

    11. This competition is governed by the laws of England and Wales without having regard to the applicationof the rules applying to conflicts of law.

    12. The rules are drawn up in the English language. If the rules are translated into another language, theEnglish language text shall in any event prevail.
