Weekend Report February 3, 2017 PSEi Analysis STRATEGY: Range Trade For the week, the PSEi fell by 106.97 pts (-1.46%) to end at 7,226.70. We have seen that the market has stalled and has been trading sideways these past few weeks after it rallied from its December lows. A convincing break above 7,400 can confirm a reversal and could send the index back to the 7,600-7,700 levels where there is a gap that is yet to be filled. It is crucial that the index hold above 7,120 or 7,000 (50sma) to maintain its short-term bullish momentum. For now, range trade index stocks but keep an eye on non-index stocks that have the potential to outperform. Foreigners were net sellers by around Php675M this week. SUPPORT: 7,120/7,000 RESISTANCE: 7,400/7,700

Foreigners were net sellers by around Php675M this week.
