We followed the Contextual Design process,

First, we visited salon and found out plenty of problems which are shown in the Sequence Model.

The Stylist showed us the process of hair cutting.

which is a well-defined user-centered design processto collect, interpret and consolidate user data in the field with a structured way.

Then, we also made the Affinity Diagramwhich brings together issues and reveal the scope of the problem and the opportunities.

1.很難記住所有顧客的髮型。

2.希望有圖像可以幫助溝通,可是圖像表達能力弱。

3.喜歡和顧客溝通,希望可以達成顧客的要求。

4.忙的時候,產品可以簡單收納,看起來整潔。

5.沉默時會尷尬。

6.希望整體給人信任的專業感。

7.想知道顧客以前剪過的髮型喜好。

1.自己主見不強,主要聽取造型師的意見。

2.太過信任,結果常不符自己想像。

3.剪髮前會緊張,因交由他人主導。

4.不希望設計師重蹈覆轍,剪出自己不喜歡的髮型。

5.想事前知道設計師的功力。

1.對口頭上的敘述不是很有概念。

2.想知道造型處理時自己的狀態。

3.有自己想法,但需要造型師協助,然後自己再整理好要求。

1.會忘記造型師教的整理方法。

2.懶的溝通,希望很快可以選擇髮型。

3.覺得預約很討厭,不喜歡被安排時間。

It’s an application for customers gathering information of hair. For example, salon searching, stylist’s portfolio viewing, reservation, pictures saving of favorite hair style, stylist’s business cards collecting, etc.

To make the UI easy to use, the design concept brings the experiencewhich people often meet in life. Such as collecting business cards in wallet and browsing hair style magzine. I also decreased the layers of the UI to make the complex system to become simple.

This is a project of design management course, in which we are taught how to manage a design project including innovative business models.

Due to the high density of population in Taiwan, it is easy to observe people lining up from store to store. Line Up! is an App built up to solve such problem. Besides, Line Up! provides innovative business model and promotes the marketing.

With the Line Up! app, customers could prevent wasting time fromstaying in line. Furthemore, the customers, called “liner”, will be formed into a new potential market.

We cooperate with the popular stores, so that all the customers have to use line up! to enter the stores. Therefore, by reducing staying in line, providing coupons, and promoting on facebook,user will be stick to line up!

The app in the App Store will be free.

Our income comes from the NTD 0.1 per coupon paid by stores.

Customers can download the Line up! app by scanning the QR code which is provided by stores.

Our Target customer will be the 35.7%+29.4%+22.8%=87.9% of the 3G market.

We could easily find out that user surfing on 3G most of the time with the social applications,game applicaitions, and applications which combined the information of map.

We would like to cooperate with popular store which is usually crowded in front of the store.

Therefore, we choose the most popular cafe which provide famous honey toast. We wish people can use the Line Up! app to stay in vitual line, and shop around with coupons.
