History: TeamX Sports was launched in the Spring of 2006 for the purpose of establishing a Youth Amateur Sports program in the Lehigh Valley. Driven by his love of sports and the desire to make sports exceptionally fun for kids, Mike Brown, the founder of TeamX Sports, launched the first Youth NFL Flag Football program in Quakertown.

Based on the core values of fun and friendships, sensitivity to families, and an emphasis on character formation through sports, TeamX has grown in popularity and now offers Youth Basketball, Floor Hockey and the extremely popular Youth NFL Flag Football program to over 1500 families in four locations in the Bucks and Lehigh County areas. The Spring of 2015 marks the 10 year anniversary of TeamX Sports, and the 20th season offering Youth NFL Flag Football in Quakertown.

Mike Brown is a Coopersburg resident where he lives with his wife Patty and two young adult boys Kyle and Scotty.

Our Core Values:Fun – We believe that kids play sports to have fun. Playing with their friends and offering action-oriented sports programs where kids are free from the pressures to win or perform promotes fun while providing kids the opportunity to develop character and confidence and flourish in the game Friendships – Playing with TeamX Sports means you are encouraged to play on the same team with your friends or siblings. Playing with friends increases fun while forging strong childhood bonds that carry over beyond the game. Family Values – We strive to put youth sports in life’s proper balance. With high demands that many youth sports organizations place on families, TeamX maintains a policy of: · No Sunday games, · One hour games, One day a week · One practice a week High Character Coaching – No one is more influential in the sports experience than the coach. TeamX continually strives to recruit, encourage and inspire high character men and women for coaching roles. The goal of a TeamX coach is transformation so that character imparted to kids transcends the game to success in other more important areas of life. A TeamX Coach will:

· Undergo Background checks · Receive Game Day Huddle Material: Our Play20 initiative where kids can learn to develop 20 essential character qualities to succeed on and off the field. · Be invited to join a TXS Impact Group – where coaches can learn and be challenged to grow in personal character and be equipped to impart those character qualities to kids through sports. · Enjoy the benefits of an expanding network of TXS Partnerships whose missions are to protect and reinforce strong character and values.
