Dear 2007 model year Chrysler 300 Owner:

Customer satisfaction is very important to Chrysler. It has come to our attention that some 2007 model year Chrysler 300 vehicles equipped with the Luxury Group II equipment package (sales code AWK) were built without the electronic circuitry to allow proper functioning of the automatically dimming exterior passenger mirror as identified on the mirror and the window sticker (Monroney label).

We are requesting 2007 model year Chrysler 300 owners who purchased a vehicle built prior to February 10, 2007 with the Luxury Group II equipment package to please review the following two options and notify us of your selection:

Option A: Keep the vehicle as built. Chrysler will refund you $85. If this option is chosen, return the bottom portion of this letter with the appropriate selection and your signature to Chrysler (no photocopies will be accepted). A check will be forwarded to you.

Option B: Have the vehicle repaired. If this option is chosen, simply call your dealer to schedule an appointment to have the circuitry added to allow the automatically dimming exterior passenger mirror to properly function. The dealer will perform this repair at no cost to you. Present the bottom portion of this letter to your Chrysler dealer as authorization to perform the repair.

Should you have any questions concerning this matter, please call the Chrysler Customer Center at 1-800-992-1997. This offer to provide a refund or repair your mirror is for a limited time only. The attached option selection form expires on December 1, 2007. We are sorry for any inconvenience, but we believe this special offer will help ensure your continuing satisfaction with your Chrysler 300.

(Customer’s VIN)
