In India, our four locations have reduced their carbon footprint
by 8 % (close to 1,000
tonnes CO2 -e).
Realising that IT equipment uses a significant amount of energy
in our office spaces, our
team in India identified a software solution (IPM+) that will
help our computers to run
more efficientlyby intelligently optimising energy requirements
across softwareapplications.
With work underway to roll-out this technology across more than
4,400 computers, this
innovative solution will reduce the energy consumption across
the computer network by
around 45 percent.
We are committed to go global with this innovative (IPM+) in
2015.
