tives Dear Participants,
The word of “competitiveness” has become one of the key factors for a sustainable and
profitable business. Companies need support to be able to cope with competitive pressure and market forces locally and globally. Chambers of commerce, whether they are formed on obligatory or voluntary basis, are the main business support organisations in the world. Chamber family provides the business community with well developed, tailor-made and inventory services. Although there are services that are generally offered by many chambers, individual chambers also develop and provide new and inventory services. Companies always demand for more. This is the reason why the chambers exist. Chambers have to serve the best possible services with the best quality to the member companies.
There are many possible ways to increase the range of services and to improve the quality of services. Training, networking, benchmarking and working together are among of the many tools available. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the Islamic Development Bank Group and The Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry have initiated an exclusive training program for the chambers senior and middle management, as an investment tool for the future of the business community: TOBB, IDB/ITFC & ICCI Chamber Academy 2011. We would like to witness that the chamber executives are benefiting from this exclusive and excellent networking, knowledge sharing and training program.
