Year 3 - Greek Day Incorrect Date

Apologies as last weeks newsletter incorrectly stated that Year 3 Greek Day was due to take place on 29th October. It has actually been scheduled to take place later in the academic year.

Years 2-6 Treasure Island Performance

M&M Theatrical Productions once again put on a fantastic show for the children! Lots of children commented how much they enjoyed it!

Bafta Staff Vacancy

Due to an increase in the number of children

attending Bafta, we are looking for additional staff, ideally with a childcare qualification. Hours will be 3.15pm - 5.00pm (zero hours contract initially) over 3 days (Monday/Wednesday/Friday), term time only. The rate of pay is £10.28 per hour. If you are interested, please contact the office or complete the application form available on the school website by Monday 30th September. All Safeguarding checks will apply. A kind reminder….. Please note ALL booking forms and payments for Bafta need to be completed by every Wednesday at 11.00am for the following week. Late bookings and payments will not be accepted.

Sickness & Diarrhoea

As advised by Public Health at Lincolnshire County Council, please be reminded that if your child has sickness or diarrhoea, they should stay off school until they have been symptom free for at least 48 hours.

Year 1

To kick start their topic with a “pow” the children in year 1 enjoyed a Superhero dress up day. All the children came into school wearing their favourite Superhero costume. They had a super day completing various superhero missions including saving the numbers that had been locked up in our jungle gym and completing a Superhero assault course in the hall in order to save some furry friends from being captured by the Evil Pea.

Year 6 - Mr Roberts

Mr Roberts’ class recently took part in a range of sporting activities which increased/decreased their heart rate. From here, they used their data to plot their own graph. We learnt how much the body goes through when you exercise!

Year 2

Year 2 have had a fantastic start to the term. To begin their topic called ‘Towers, Turrets and Tunnels’, they took a trip to Lincoln and had a great day at Lincoln Castle.

They climbed the castle walls, went to Knight School, made shields, enjoyed a banquet and tried on armour worn by knights in battle.
