The Czech Republic has been the home of Avast for 30 years, and we want to give back by helping locally.

What is our goal?

We have provided long-term support to several non-profit organizations, the activities of which we fully trust. Every year we support new and varied projects that engage our Board of Trustees.

In total, 261 projects were submitted in the open round of 2018, requesting over CZK 121 million. We supported 56 of them with the amount of nearly CZK 15.5 million.

As our contribution to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Republic, we supported the multimedia exposition “Memory of the Nation” which presents the most substantial moments of the Czechoslovakian modern history and mainly of the two of its totalitarian regimes, and also the special project of the Prague Shakespeare Society dedicated to Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, the first President of Czechoslovakia.

Beyond the framework of those projects, the amount of CZK 1 million was released to help persons a�ected by Hurricane Florence.
