How to use this schedule

1. Select the page corresponding to your entry location.

2. Locate your destination exit in the left-hand column of the grid.

3. Scan right along the row to find your class of vehicle. Your Toll Rate will be within the box that corresponds to your Vehicle Class.

4. When no toll is displayed, then your selected exit is not valid from that location and/or your payment option is not available.

When using the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Turnpike Extensions, your toll may be based on number of axles, vehicle weight, or both. See the guide below for Vehicle Class information.

PERMIT RESTRICTIONS: Apply online at www.paturnpike.com/permit/Login.aspxPermit Office Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. 717-831-7601 Special permits are required for all loads/vehicles in excess of the maximum allowance shown below:

Length: 85 feet

Axle Weight: 22,400 pounds

Weight: 100,000 pounds

Height: 13 feet 6 inches

Width: Over 10 feet to a maximum of 11 feet 6 inches

Bumper Overhang: Over 5 feet front or over 15 feet rear

EXCEPTIONS: Maximum width between (115) Wyoming Valley Ramp and (131) Clarks Summit Ramp (Northeast Extension) is 14 feet. The maximum height and width on Turnpike 576, 43, 66 and I-376 is 14 feet.

NOTE: Vehicles between 8 feet 6 inches and 10 feet wide do not require a permit, but must follow time-of-day travel restrictions. Payment for Class 9 over dimensional loads can be made by com check or cash. E-Z Pass is not accepted. You must stop at the entering interchange to pick up a Class 9 ticket and permit (Excludes unmanned ramp locations).

TIME of DAY TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS: From Memorial Day to Labor Day, all over-dimensional movements must travel between sunrise and sunset Monday to Thursday, and between sunrise and noon on Friday.

From Labor Day to Memorial Day, all over-dimensional movements must travel between sunrise and sunset Monday to Friday, and between sun-rise and noon on Saturday.

ESCORT VEHICLE is REQUIRED in ADDITION to the PERMIT:

• Total vehicle length of 90-160 feet requires a company escort. Total vehicle length of over 160 feet requires a company and PSP escort.

• Total vehicle width is over 11 feet

• Total vehicle width over 11 feet 6 inches between (115) Wyoming Valley Ramp and (131) Clarks Summit Ramp

• Total vehicle width over 11 feet 6 inches on Turnpike 576, 43, 66 and I-376

• Bumper overhang of 5 feet front or 15 feet rear

• Or at the discretion of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission due to safety concerns

PLEASE NOTE:Allow one business day for permits that require Engineering review, and two weeks for review

of super loads.

(A vehicle and load that weighs in excess of 100,000 pounds, and which does not meet the federal definition of nondivisible, cannot legally enter the PA Turnpike.)

PA Turnpike TOLL BY PLATE is the license plate tolling system introduced in 2016 for cashless tolling points. Traditional cash customers traveling through a cashless tolling point will receive a PA Turnpike TOLL BY PLATE invoice. E-ZPass customers will be billed as usual.

How It WorksThe cashless tolling facility or gantry is equipped with cameras that capture each vehicle’s license plate. The registered owner of the vehicle receives a PA Turnpike TOLL BY PLATE invoice in the mail for all trips made through the cashless tolling point in a one month period.

All vehicles are welcome at cashless tolling points, but rental vehicle companies may have their own policy that addresses how toll payments are processed. Customers can be referred to the PTC website for more details about rental vehicles at www.paturnpike.com/toll/rental.aspx.

LocationsThe Delaware River Bridge toll point was the first PA Turnpike TOLL BY PLATE location. A second cashless tolling system is anticipated to be introduced April 30, 2017 along the I-376 Beaver Valley Expressway (previously Toll 60) in Lawrence and Beaver Counties.

PaymentAn example of the PA Turnpike TOLL BY PLATE invoice is shown to the right. Customers can pay the invoice over the phone or on the PA Turnpike TOLL BY PLATE website with a credit card. Customers can also pay by check through the mail. For those customers who prefer to pay with cash, they will need to drive to the Customer Service Center.

NOTE: Vehicles between 8 feet 6 inches and 10 feet wide do not require a permit, but must follow time-of-day travel restrictions. Payment for Class 9 over dimensional loads can be made by com check or cash. E-Z Pass is not accepted. You must stop at the entering interchange to pick up a Class 9 ticket and permit (Excludes unmanned ramp locations).

TIME of DAY TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS: From Memorial Day to Labor Day, all over-dimensional movements must travel between sunrise and sunset Monday to Thursday, and between sunrise and noon on Friday.

From Labor Day to Memorial Day, all over-dimensional movements must travel between sunrise and sunset Monday to Friday, and between sun-rise and noon on Saturday.

ESCORT VEHICLE is REQUIRED in ADDITION to the PERMIT:

• Total vehicle length of 90-160 feet requires a company escort. Total vehicle length of over 160 feet requires a company and PSP escort.

• Total vehicle width is over 11 feet

• Total vehicle width over 11 feet 6 inches between (115) Wyoming Valley Ramp and (131) Clarks Summit Ramp

• Total vehicle width over 11 feet 6 inches on Turnpike 576, 43, 66 and I-376

• Bumper overhang of 5 feet front or 15 feet rear

• Or at the discretion of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission due to safety concerns
