data sources both historically and in real time
• Inputs include:
- operational data (e.g. live bus, road and rail movements)
- environmental data (e.g. weather, events, tourism)
- human behavioural data (e.g. mobile phone, social sentiment,
customer intent, demographic profiling)

• Outputs mapped to live running services at a vehicle and
passenger level, with all interventions measured
• 2.5 years of historical data already processed
• Online advertising technology creates self-learning profiles of
every user and tailors ALL content on an individual basis
• Machine learning used to identify and predict issues

• 3.5m tweets per month mapped to individual trains
• 2m tweets per month mapped to individual buses
• 100m facebook interactions per month analysed
• 6,000 weather and conditional inputs per minute
• All processed, normalised and stored indefinitely
